samsung galaxy watch 4 linking error

I've just bought a Samsung galaxy watch 4, I've downloaded the app without any issues but I'm unable to log into deezer on it. It keeps saying, "hold your phone close to your watch too log in" I've done this dozens of times. Uninstalled on my watch several times. Just turned off and on but won't work. Quite infuriating. Anyone got a fix for this?

Sorry about it, our developers identified the issue and it will be an update this week to solve this issue on our Deezer app.

Hi, I'm not on the beta programme, just the regular app? It still isn't working, I'm really disappointed with this. I've used deezer for 5 years and now I'll need to move to Spotify.

finally managed to log in to the Samsung watch, unfortunately, one recording and that's it, they jam on. Switched to spotify, no problems. What's up with the constant issues on Deezer watches app???
