On the web page of the Deezer player the pages of the artists, albums are not displayed. Also the lyrics are not available anymore and the background color to display them stays mostly the same (green). Sometimes blue !

I use chrome ! The last updates are done

Can you add a screenshot here? I’m also using the webplayer on my Chromebook, but no problems here.

Yes, of course

Does Deezer work successfully on another device?  If it does, I’d suggest uninstall, restart, reinstalled, restart and cross your fingers that works.

Thank you for the screenshots. It’s weird how Deezer looks on your Chromebook. Like I said, I’m also using Deezer on my Chromebook and I don’t have any issues.

There are a couple of things you can try:

  • Start Google Chrome and start the Incognito window.
  • Go to the Deezer website and log on.
  • And check if the Deezer website works or not.
  • If it does work, close the Incognito window and clear your cookies, browser history and the rest.

  • Go to the Google Playstore. Download the Firefox browser.
  • Go to the Deezer website and log on.
  • And check if it works.

  • Go to the Google Playstore. Download the Deezer app.
  • Start the Deezer app and check if it works with your account.

Like you can see in my screenshot, I’m using the Google Chrome brower on my Chromebook.

And this is a screenshot when using the Deezer app on my Chromebook:

Hello,

So I tested on several browsers (Edge, Firefox) but always the same problem. I also deleted the cookies from my default browser and also switched to private browsing but the problem still occurs. I installed the deezer application for windows 10 and I also have this problem. I use chrome browser for win 10.

i use windows 11 and  I’m also having same errors for a while now,  has OP resolve this or still no fixes?, the app is buggy, clickin the name of an artist displays an error, lirycs  display green or blue screen with half loaded and freezes, can’t go to albums of an artist by using artist name link, on my phone it works fine. Help

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to share my experience with the Deezer web player and express my frustration regarding a few issues. Lately, I've been encountering some problems with the player's functionality. Specifically, the pages of artists and albums are not being displayed properly. It's quite disappointing because I enjoy exploring and discovering new music through these pages.

Another letdown is the unavailability of lyrics. I used to rely on them to sing along and deepen my connection with the songs, but now they seem to have disappeared. Even more frustrating is the persistent background color that's supposed to display lyrics. Most of the time, it stays an unwavering green, occasionally changing to blue.

I primarily use Chrome as my browser, and I've made sure to keep it up to date with the latest updates. However, these issues persist despite my efforts.

I have exactly the same problems as you described, only when using the windows app, i use windows 11 home. I hope there is a fix soon, or i will be forced to cancel my membership

Hello @Minimoon unfortunately if the issue can not be reproduced it is not a bug on our side.

Please prefer the web version to the app, if it’s possible on your side.

Have you tried with different connections? Could you give me a specific example of an album that does not play or displays any lyrics?

This is a screenshot of deezer.com on Chrome and it works perfectly.

Do you have any Ad blockers that might limit your experience?

J'ai tout essayé. J'ai désactivé mon bloqueur de publicités, essayé une autre connexion Internet, un autre navigateur. Tous les albums ne s'affichent pas, les pages artistes ainsi que les paroles. Remove cookies and switch to private navigation. In the French community, other people have the same problem!

Hello @Minimoon when you first posted the two screenshots, there are two distinct issues.

First the error on albums and artist is unfortunately a known issue that our teams are working to fix it.

Regarding your second screenshot, with the green background, as our colleague mentioned I can’t reproduce it as well. does this happen with all content you try to play?

I am afraid this might be due to the use of VPN, Ad blocker, Anti-virus, a proxy connection or maybe something outdated.

However my vpn is not activated, I checked my proxy connection and everything is OK. I tried again with edge and on the lyrics page there's still the same error message as on the second screenshot.

Hi @Minimoon did you tried on Incognito mode as well?

I looked again on your green screenshot, pushed the song to play and I can’t reproduce the issue. Tested on Chrome, Mozilla and Edge.

If you try on mobile phone or tablet or even on a smart TV can you reproduce same issue?

Here are screenshots of the lyrics pages on different web browsers:

I also tested it on a phone and a tablet on the computer version of the Firefox browser. I've noticed that the problem doesn't appear on the phone. On the tablet, however, the problem is still present.

Phone, album page
Phone, artist page
Phone, lyric page
Tablet, album page
Tablet, artist page
Tablet, lyric page

On the phone I don't get the message in red that Deezer no longer supports the browser version. However, the firefox version is the same for phone and tablet (114.2.0, android). I've deactivated my VPN on both devices!

i also tested on the deezer application for windows 10, same result

Hi @Minimoon, thanks for sending the prints requested.
I have shared all your information with our developers.

Server or Service Issues: Temporary server or service issues on Deezer's end could cause missing artist or album pages, as well as unavailable lyrics. In such cases, the problem is likely to be resolved once Deezer addresses the server-related problem. Furthermore, It is important to carry some of the best camping lighters with yourself when about to go camping.

Browser Compatibility: Ensure that you are using a supported and up-to-date web browser. Some features of the Deezer player might not work correctly on older or less popular browsers.

JavaScript and Plugins: Make sure JavaScript is enabled in your browser, as the Deezer player heavily relies on JavaScript for its functionality. Additionally, check if any browser plugins or extensions might be interfering with the player's operation, and try disabling them temporarily.

Cache and Cookies: Clear your browser's cache and cookies, as outdated or corrupted data might cause issues with the Deezer player's display and functionality.

Internet Connection: A slow or unstable internet connection could affect the loading of pages and content on the Deezer player. Ensure you have a stable internet connection and try refreshing the page.

Browser Extensions: Some ad blockers or privacy-focused browser extensions might interfere with the Deezer player's functionality. Try disabling any such extensions temporarily to see if it resolves the issue.

Updates: Check if there are any updates available for your browser and apply them if necessary. Similarly, ensure that you are using the latest version of the Deezer player.

Contact Deezer Support: If the issues persist, consider reaching out to Deezer's support team to report the problems you are facing. They can provide more specific assistance and might be able to identify any ongoing issues or solutions. I hope is that clear.
