I am using Deezer with BluOs (Bluesound Node 2 player) and at an other location I use MusicCast with a Yamaha receiver.

Deezer works perfectly with BluOs, never any issues.

But with MusicCast there is quite often something wrong. Slow loading of new songs, flow interruptions, login keeps hanging, library does not load, etc.

I did not get any kind of useful response from the MusicCast helpdesk; is there any chance to improve the stability of Deezer in MusicCast?

Today again the MusicCast keeps hanging on Deezer login. A bit earlier the songs were loading very slowly. Using Deezer app directly and play via Airplay works fine.


MusicCast is still giving the message “Processing login. One moment please” when try to start streaming music from Deezer. Restarting the app etc does not help. Is there anybody at Deezer who can make the guys at MusicCast do something regarding the Deezer integration?


Hello @MHM thanks for your post and glad to hear things work great on BlueOS app and via Airplay.

Unfortunately, we are aware on some latency with Musiccast. Have you try to unlink service, clean cache and data of the MusicCast app, remove app and start over the installation process?

Also, you can try to use a different mobile device, for example if you have Android, use a iOS device or an Android on a different OS version, for test purposes.

I can try to raise this issue on our side, but might be something with the integration of our API on their environment.

Could you tell us more about your set up, version of device, music cast version and record a video showing these delays.

I have the MusicCast app on my iPhone and iPad, both on the latest iOS, and if there is an issue like the login or slow loading, it occurs on both. I have no Android device.

I just noticed MusicCast has released version 5.8. I’ll try this out in the weekend and will try to document if issues come up.
