I’m seeing the same issue. I have my main monitor and a second monitor on the right of the main monitor. When I drag deezer to the monitor on the right, deezer disappears/crashes.
Hello all!
Have you downloaded the latest version of the app here?
https://www.deezer.com/desktop/download/artifact/win32/x86/5.30.160
I get the same issue for years with Windows Store official (and normally up to date) version (5.3.280).
Any info about resolution in that version ? (don’t want to manually update version with a separate setup)
I am sorry @djeepy1, but this is an issue we were never able to reproduce.
Which is why we suggest updating the app.
It might also be related to your display settings and not to the app.
I get it on differents laptops and different screen configurations.
- Connect an external screen
- extend your desktop
- be sure you don’t have the same resolution between screens
- start application and maximize it on one of the screens
- try to move application between screens or outside of screen with a mouse
I can reproduce it each time. Anywhere.
I have always had the same problem.
I’m currently using latest version (5.30.400) I’ve just installed on my new computer (windows 10 pro).
I can move the app on the screen where it was launched but as soon as I start moving it to another monitor, it crashes.
work-around : move the app from one monitor to the other by using iwin]+iarrows]
Hi,
I too am having this issue. I have had it ever since I installed the app, on 2 completely different machines both using different screens, graphics cards and different resolutions. Referring to @djeepy1’s comment, these steps reproduce it every time.
I am on the latest version of the app and will also add that the logs being output by your application contains the errors which occur right before it crashes and are either:
or
>error] WindowState: Cannot properly determine the display id.
Hey @Barendrecht @jaldeez!
Can you please send me the Windows version and the Deezer app version, please? And if possible a video of this issue.
Thank you.

It's up to you guys. What do you want?
yes, you can attach the video as a comment here, but you asked to do it in a private message, that’s why I suggest to send an email to Costumer care. You can send me a DM if you want.
I’m having the same issue for a long time. My workaround is moving the window a little bit several times until it reachs the other screen.
Thank you @germhaine for your workaround tip.
I have an issue with the Windows Desktop app but cannot find a place to report bugs, only features. So I am posting it here. If this is incorrect, then please let me know the proper process.
The bug is in two parts:
- The app does not remember which screen I had it on previously, so I have to move it to the correct screen everyday kellie shanygne williams age
- As soon as I drag the window to another screen it crashes (disappears, no error messages or anything)
- at this point I have to open it again, move again & it crashes
- Usually by now it opens on the other screen & I can finally maximize it
When I try to create a custom playlist and add new tracks, the app occasionally freezes and becomes unresponsive. This glitch disrupts the playlist creation process, making it frustrating to curate music seamlessly. It seems that the app's search function doesn't always display accurate results, which further complicates adding tracks to playlists.
