Does anybody else have the same problem that Deezer app works very slow on Samsung TVs (Tizen)?  When you are going thru songs or albums, it works with a delay of few seconds. Also, sometimes plays a song with a cover of another one and display some error. All other apps works perfectly fine and fast.

  1. What is the model of your TV? You can find this info either on the back of the TV or in the settings menu.
  2. Is your TV connected via Wi-Fi or a wired connection?
  3. Can you check the signal strength on your TV? For example, test other apps like YouTube and let us know how they perform (do they load quickly or show delays?).

1. Samsung QE75Q70BATXXH is the exact model

2. It is connected with wire. I have optics fiber internet with 600Mb/s download speed.

3. All other apps works perfect (YT, NFetflix, Max,...) in 4K.

 

There are also bugs like:

1. App plays song and shows cover of some other song on screen

2. Loading homescreen icons lasts long

3. Going thru menu is veeery slow

 

I repeat, on all other apps everythig wprks smoothly and perfectly.

I have checked once again what is the major problem with the app on TV, and it seems that app works well except when i am going over "flow" playlists on the music page (go over them, scroll, list...).

 

I have recorded a video but there is no option to post it. Only photos can be uploaded directly to the topic, but no videos. Then i have uploaded it to temp server and i will share a link with you here.

I have the same issue. Deezer app is very slow and sometimes show me bad covers.

I have tested with a Nvida Android TV box and I have a seamless experience.

Also, the general feedback we have from users is that the Deezer app works well on Samsung TV with Tizen OS.

Have you tried any troubleshooting?

  • Clear cache
  • Clear Data
  • Turn the TV off and remove the power cable for 30 seconds
  • Uninstall and install back again, Deezer app.
