Deezer not working on Fitbit: unexpected error occurred

I just got my Fitbit Sense 2 days ago and am experiencing the same issue. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. 

Same issue with the ionic… unexpected error...can’t connect to server ….seems to be a recurring issue. for several months. Pease fix  ASAP was one of the reasons I bought the dang watch.  The easy answer is always we are working on it….seems more like an excuse than a fix… if you’re gonna offer this app then make sure it works. Frustrated. Thanks

I'm having the same issue. UH OH, UNEXPECTED ERROR after I click pair device. I've tried restarting my versa, restarting my phone, deleting the app on both, signing out and back in. I have deezer premium which works if I play it on my phone. I dunno what else to do and I've lost patience with it completely. I feel I've been restarting my devices all day and got nowhere. Any other tips please ?

Is there a way you can remove the Deezer app, restart the device and redownload it so that we can test, @Ketchup?

Hi Rob, please can you tell me how to unlink Deezer from my Fitbit device? 

I have a Versa 3 and I’m getting the ‘uh oh’ problem, however deleting and re-installing the app isn’t fixing the issue. I’ve tried deleting the fitbit app, the deezer app, logging out of fitbit, restarting, logging out of deezer on my phone but nothing works. Hoping there is a way to unlink Deezer from Fitbit so maybe I have a chance to enter a code in again and see if that works?

Deezer on versa 3 can't  connect to server.  Have goe thru checklist many times.and tried man times in last 10 days. Please help.

Is this a known bug and is there a standard fix? I'm running into the same issue and I've tried everything I can think of - I get the screen saying an unexpected error occurred but the Fitbit still app seems to think it worked, so I can download the music onto the versa but can't open deezer to listen to it 😣

I got my fitbit versa 3 yesterday. And I’ve got the same problem. Have been trying everything. Could cry out of frustration right now..

Just got new fitbit. Subscribed to deezer premium so I can listen to music while running. Put the activation code in so I can pair but keeps coming up with server error message. Please confirm this is an issue from your end and is in the process of being resolved as I am getting frustrated trying to pair my devices. Turning both my phone and fitbit off a numerous of times and thinking I'm doing something wrong. TIA.

I have the same problem with my brand new Fitbit Versa 2 bought today together with my Deezer Premium account. Fitbit firmware 35.70.721.

Please look into this immediately.

This seems like a long standing issue that has been going on for a while now. Are you any closer to getting this issue fixed because at the moment you are advertising functionality that you don't have which is unacceptable. With the price tag that comes with the fitbit you expect these things to work. As I can see in previous posts people are returning their fitbit and cancelling their deezer subscription. I am not far behind them unless this issue is resolved!!

Following - I'm having the same issue with my Verse 3. 

Same issue here ☹️, also had issues with google assistant, I created a new Fitbit account which fixed the Google assistant issue but not Deezer 😩

Hi @Ric Scott 

I no longer have a Fitbit so that step of the process may no longer be relevant. I think there is a problem with Deezer and Fitbit not syncing as it's also being reported on the Fitbit forums. I know this issue has been flagged by a moderator and reported to the technical team at Deezer. 

Same issue here. I get as far as logging in on the phone and it opens the fitbit app, then I get the uh oh message.

Thank you for reaching out and reporting this. I believe it's affecting different Fitbit models. Could you please confirm if you have any firmware updates available?
