I have multiple monitors (in-built laptop screen, one horizontal monitor and one vertical monitor) and I’m seeing an issue where the Deezer app crashes when I drag the Deezer window from one monitor to another.
No error message is displayed, it just closes unexpectedly.
seems less sensitive, but I still have Deezer closing unexpectedly. Try clicking on the top of the window to move it, and shake it for a while. You may find that it closes. But it's already much better (and therefore more usable).
Surprisingly, I only had this problem with the previous version when two screens were connected. Now it can happen with a single screen.
Hi @smooms Thanks for your reply. Please try to record a video and provide details of your set-up. Please include the Windows version and confirm that you are on version 7.0.1.
Already shared this information with our developers.
Nevertheless, in my opinion, this might be one reason why it is so challenging to replicate the issue. It can be related to some software running in the background, or indeed a line in the code that needs an improvement.
Your example is a perfect sample of that challenge.
I’ll keep everybody posted if I get news.
Meanwhile, would be great to hear from the other users impacted in the past by this issue @wimheylen @ingvarr777 @jamie_mot. Cheers
The application still sometimes crashes when I drag from one monitor to another, but it appears it be less often. I can drag the window from one monitor to another several times before it happens. So a huge improvement, but it does still happen.
Deezer 7.0.1.0 (installed from the Microsoft store)
Windows 11 Enterprise Version 23H2, OS build 22631.4751
Can you please enable that option and give it a new try to see if the app still crash’s?
Here is how to find that setting.
Please let us know how are things going with that option ON.

problem always present too... it's a shame
Same problem. Windows 11, Deezer 6.0.290
Hi @wimheylen! Could you share a video of the issue so I can pass it along to our developers?
If you haven’t downloaded it, please give it a try, and please give us feedback. Thanks
Hi @José.Deezer, I haven't noticed this issue since 7 has been released. Plus huge improvement with performance. Good job
Amazing @jirikovoego, thanks for your feedback. Already shared with the team.

Thanks @jamie_mot for your feedback. It is great to hear that is happening less.
Just shared your details with developers.
I still have the problem with Deezer 7.0.1 on Windows 11
Edition Windows 11 Enterprise Version 23H2 Installed on 08/01/2025 OS build 22631.4751 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1055.0
And indeed I can also make it crash with just my laptop screen on, and the external screen disconnected.
All I need to do is just move the app around a bit and it crashes instantly.
