Title: "Deezer App on Samsung TV Causing Random Shutdowns"

Hey, community! 👋📺

I've been facing a rather perplexing issue with the Deezer app on my Samsung TV. It seems that whenever I try to use the Deezer app, my TV experiences random shutdowns. 😞

This unexpected problem has become quite frustrating, especially considering that the TV works seamlessly with other applications. The issue appears to be exclusive to the Deezer app, leaving me scratching my head for a solution.

I've tried various troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling the Deezer app, and updating my TV's software. However, the problem persists. It's disheartening to experience such technical glitches, particularly when enjoying music is supposed to be a stress-reliever!

Has anyone else in our awesome community faced a similar issue with the Deezer app on their Samsung TV? If so, I'd love to hear about your experiences and any solutions you might have found. Let's share our knowledge and help each other out. 💬🔧

Hello @jjrecort,

Given the troubleshooting steps you’ve already gone through, I might add two more:

  1. Cold boot your TV, as best explained on Samsung’s website:

Over time your TV can run low on memory, or a residual electrical charge can build up in your TV. This can result in some funky glitches like an app that stops responding, the menu not opening, or just taking a long time to turn on. Discharging or cold booting your TV drains the charge and resets the main board. If something really weird is happening, try this: with the TV on, press and hold the power button on your Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and back on. When the TV comes back on, everything should be back to normal.

If you don't have your Samsung remote, there's another way you can discharge your TV. With the TV turned on, unplug it for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. After you plug it back in and turn it on, your TV should be fine.

  1. Soft Reset your TV: While the TV is on, Hold the Power Button on your Remote for about 5 - 10 seconds. Hold until you see the Samsung logo or name appears.
  2. Factory Reset your TV: Last resort.
  • Navigate to and select Settings, and then select All Settings.
  • Select General & Privacy.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the list, and then select Reset.

If they still can’t resolve your issue, you can write back here or reach to support directly here.

Hello,

Unfortunatelly methods 1 and 2 didn’t work.

I’m hesitating about trying method 3, reseting it all is really a big fuss.
