Connecting to Pioneer's Rekordbox

Hello there,

Is this in development as of yet for Deezer Premium to be supported in Pioneer’s Rekordbox software? I can see the idea / suggestion for this was posted 3 years ago, but it still doesn’t appear to be supported.

Would this be an idea / suggestion best suited for you (Deezer) or Pioneer themselves? As I’m sure that a rather large group of individuals (including myself) would find this support to be very beneficial.

Could you not just copy and paste the Deezer Premium support currently in Virtual DJ, over and onto Pioneer’s Rekordbox software? 😉

Different software, different brand, different partnership and integration.

It isn't on the plans for now BUT we're updating our SDKs this year, to allow for better and partnerships in the future. It's a huge work to be done on our side, so it'll take time. But it has started already.

Stay tuned, Deezer are the underdogs and our priority this year is to improve our app's connectivity.

hi I got a pioneer controller. So rekordbox is given free. But Deezer is not working with in rekordbox. And Virtual dj is not working free because I connect a controler. So I am supposed to pay for Virtual Dj to be able to connect my deezer account with my controller. It is so confusing that deezer is working with virtual dj but not with rekordbox. I f I can not use it then I dont need deezer hi fi account also . Youtube music is enough just to listen music with a larger archive.

I must stress that a future integration with Rekordbox isn't guaranteed - but the work we're currently doing can open doors for all sorts of new integrations in the future @Ali Nane

Any updates on Rekordbox? I’d love to ditch my Tidal subscription and switch over to Deezer when it happens.

But as I've mentioned in the forums, we're building a new Public API and SDKs so that we can better integrate with our current partners and also with potential new ones 

Just to add my voice to this again. As I originally posted this 2 years ago. There are loads of people interested but not everyone will post when they see others have already requested. @Rudi  I hope this becomes a priority after the api  and sdk work.

The good thing is that we those updates you mentioned, our future integrations will be seamless. Fingers crossed for you and the others you represent 

Great, I hope it can be used with Rekordbox sometime soon, I am aware of how hard it is for any company to change the API and the SDK, lots and lots of work.

This is 2023 I’d have through Deezer would be able to integrate with pioneer rekordbox by now? Personally I do t see much point to a Deezer subscription if it’s not versatile, there’s too many other better and cheaper streamers

Pioneer just released Rekordbox 4.0 for mobile devices which open ups lots of possibilities to entry level crowd start mixing and using streaming services.
 

I believe this might persuade me go back to Tidal from Deezer, just because of this reason.
