Can't connect Deezer Wear OS (Galaxy Watch 4) with my account

João Miguel Soares

When I try to login in Deezer app for Wear Os always return to me to retry and hold my watch near my phone, but my watch is next do my phone.

There’s another way to connect my account?

I had exactly the same issue with the pixel Watch. I uninstalled it several times and it did connect in the end (with a pixel 7 pro). I also restarted the phone and watch which did seem to help.

Reinstalling and rebooting did not solve the issue on my side :( (I'm using Deezer Beta)

Sorry to hear that guys. 😑

Can you please try to do what @Zayn-T said?

Delete the app, reset the devices and try to reinstall the app again, please?

Please let me know any updates.

Hi folks, I’m sorry you’re still having issues, even after reinstalling.  All I can suggest is to contact Deezer support and see how they can assist you.

Please let us know here if you find a solution so it can help others as well.

Hello all, please try again and be mindful of these points:

Note: Your watch must be connected to a cellular network or WiFi. Your Android phone must be nearby and you must be logged in on the Android Deezer app

Tip: We recommend turning the Bluetooth on your phone off when downloading or playing content to improve the performance of your watch

  1. Launch Deezer from your watch
  2. Select Log in with phone

You can now control music from your watch. You are able to access your Flow, Favorites, Recently Played, and all the music you have liked!

Alternatively:

  1. Launch Deezer from your watch
  2. Select Log in with a code. A code will be displayed on your watch
  3. On the Deezer app on your phone, enter the code that is displayed on your watch

If the problem continues, could you please send me screenshots so we can investigate further?

The "log in with a code" option does not appear, only "log in with phone".
Even with the watch connected to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth the problem is always the same.

That’s fine @João Miguel Soares, there is that option too!

And then connect to deezer on your mobile!

Yula, thank you for the answer, but I confirm that in updated app for Brazil there’s no option for “log in with code”

Just to confirm I am having the same issues as @João Miguel Soares here in the UK. Only a Log in with Phone option. I have met all the conditions you raised above and no luck at all.

Hi all. I was using Deezer Beta and my Pixel Watch never connect to my phone. I had to quit the Beta program to install vanilla Deezer, and it works!

Same issue here. WATCH 4 LTE .Frustrating TO SAY THE LEAST . When I got the app from Google Play it downloaded on my phone only, although ticked it did  not to my watch..it kept saying pending... So downloaded it manually. It seems to recognize my phone but my phone does not recognise tge watch..or so. Nor does it see downloaded podcast... I can't see how to make this work and it's so frustrating I wil cancel the premium subscription in a few hours if I cant. It shouldn't be this hard.

Same issue here. Galaxy Watch 4 44mm + Galaxy S21 Ultra. Just waited for the app, and then this… Shame on Deezer, frustrating

When I first got the watch it all worked well, I downloaded some of my own MP3 via Deezer web and added to playlist, those didn’t show up in the watch app so I uninstalled the app and now I cant sign in, having the same issues, done everything recommended and it doesn’t work, uninstall, reset etc, disabled beta...no joy, bit pants tbh.

Here it happened the same. First connection was ok. After that the app didn´t refresh new musics and playlists.I uninstalled and it didn´t connect anymore.

“Kaltum (Deezer Support)

4 Dec 2022, 08:45 GMT

Hello Martin,

It seems there is an issue with the watch. I will ask our Android team to check it. Is it possible to send me a screenshot or a video.

Sorry for the inconvenience

Kind regards “

This is the answer I got from the deezer team. I sent them a screenshot and described the situation. I don't know who works there, but they don't listen to what they are told, only the automatic answer is that it's the watch's fault. Even though I told him to check the forum how many people have the same problem

Same problem here: first it says “connecting” and then “hold your phone close to your watch to log in”. Nothing happens on the phone. I am not in the Beta program, there’s no other login options and I de-installed/installed multiple times on both the watch (Galaxy Watch Classic 4) and my phone (Samsung Note 20 Ultra). Should all be very compatible.
