Our Deezer Next Artist for the month of October… Confidence Man

Ever heard about them?

Today we're shining the spotlight on Australia's electrifying dance-pop sensation, Confidence Man. This group is well-known for their infectious beats and incredibly dynamic performances.

Confidence Man, often abbreviated as "Conman", is comprised of members Janet Planet, Sugar Bones, Reggie Goodchild, and Clarence McGuffie. This Australian band took the music scene by storm with their debut single “Boyfriend (Repeat)” in 2016, and they've been wowing fans ever since.
Their music is a seamless blend of pop, electronic, and disco that hooks listeners from the first beat.

The band visited our studio in Paris and recorded an amazing version of their hits “I CAN’T LOSE YOU” and “CONTROL”

Their recent album “3AM (LA LA LA)”, just dropped on the 18th October and fans are loving it.

Love the spotlight on Confidence Man!

Their vibe is so electrifying, and their ability to mix pop, electronic, and disco is simply awesome.

I'm really digging their new album "3AM (LA LA LA)"—definitely a must-listen!

Excited to catch their Deezer Session and see those live recordings from Paris

She was educated at the Notting Hill Academy of Music and had a brief stint working at Marks and Spencer. Her musical journey began during lockdown, recording lo-fi demos in her home inspired by the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Sam Fender, and Keith Flint. Additionally, Charlotte Plank is part of Loud LDN, a collective of female and non-binary musicians based in London. On 14 February 2021, Charlotte Plank made her official debut on the single "Dont U Know" alongside Frankie Allan and Strictly Banks. Later that year, she was featured on "Reflecting" from Chowerman's EP ANTITHESIS. A few months later, she returned with a single titled "Lost Boys," followed by "L.S.D. (Love So Damaged)" in January 2023. Charlotte Plank's major chart success came on 21 April 2023, when she collaborated with Rudimental and Vibe Chemistry to release "Dancing Is Healing," a song that cracked the Top 5 of the UK Singles Chart and earned silver certification by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). 2023 also saw the release of "Lights," a collaboration with Hybrid Minds that peaked at number 76 on the UK streaming charts.

One of my favourite bands! They are back 🙏
