Hey everyone 👋

I’ve been using Deezer for a while now, and one thing I really enjoy is discovering new music—but I feel like I might not be using all the features properly.

Most of the time I just rely on Flow or randomly exploring playlists, and it works… but sometimes I end up hearing the same kind of tracks over and over again.

So I wanted to ask the community:

  • How do you usually find new artists or songs?
  • Do you stick with Flow, or do you explore playlists manually?
  • Any hidden features or tricks that helped you discover better music?

I’m especially interested in finding fresh genres or underrated artists that don’t always show up in the usual recommendations.

Would love to hear how you all use Deezer on a daily basis 🎧

Thanks!

You can tune your Flow now and dismiss genres you don’t like or add new ones that you want to hear more of.

Furthermore the Deezer playlists Discover and New Releases are similar to Spotify’s Discover Weekly and Release Radar and change their content on Mondays and Fridays followng your personal taste.

Generally adding more artists, albums and tracks to your favorites also helps the recommendation algorithm to choose music you might not know yet.
