Playback queue resets when returning from another audio app (iOS)

Hi,

I’m experiencing an issue on iPhone where my playback queue is lost even though I do not manually close the Deezer app.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start a mixed queue (songs added manually from different playlists).

  2. Leave Deezer without force-closing it.

  3. Play audio in another app (for example YouTube) for 15–20 minutes.

  4. Return to Deezer.

In multitasking view I can see Deezer with the current song displayed, but when I open it, the entire queue is reset and I have to start over.

It seems the queue is not persisted when the app is background-terminated by iOS after audio focus is taken by another app.

Is this expected behaviour, or is this a bug?
If expected, could you please consider persisting the queue state so it survives background termination?

Device: iPhone
iOS version: 26.2.1
Deezer version: 11.6.0.2

Hi @torbenm 👋

Have you tried to increase the smart cache bar to the max in the Deezer app settings?

That could help!
