Roon compatibility with Deezer

Any news on this?
Would be a huge win for Deezer and Roon if they could get this working!

Roon would finally have a nice mainstream streamer service integrated, and Deezer would put itself on the map as one of the high fidelity streaming services.

As a Roon user and a Deezer trialist i’d love to have Deezer available in Roon. So far i prefer Deezer to Qobuz and Tidal so i’d be willing to ditch Qobuz for Deezer as my Roon streaming service. 

From the Roon forum it looks like they are ready to integrate and it’s just a decision that Deezer need to make. 

Also interested in this and fingers crossed it gets implemented someday!

What is the update on this? The Roon team are ready to go.

Is it so difficult to get an answer to this simple question. I am a dedicated Roon user and have had a Deezer an account for the last few years, but I have now cancelled it as they don’t seem to want to integrate with Roon. What a shame a good streaming services looses customers because they won’t integrate with a great company that will not detract from them. Maybe they feel threatened. It doesn’t make sense to me!

From my understanding this was desired and waiting on API work due to happen in ‘22 Q2.

Does this mean that Deezer is not going ahead with Roon, or going out of business?

Another vote for Deezer integration with Roon... please consider!

Same here - I just don’t see a way to play back Deezer in high quality on my stereo system. Airplay sucks regarding playback quality. Roon is a perfect solution for this, as it plays Audio on Roon endpoints in the best quality possible. Why is Deezer offering a hiqh quality subscription at all? Without integration of Deezer into Roon or Audirvana I really don’t see the point in subscribing to the HQ version.

I’m probably going to let my Deezer sub lapse if they don’t get an integration with Roon working. It’s really disappointing, especially as the Qobuz integration works so well. 

On demo premo mode. Yeah… I’m gonna need a Roon integration for this subscription thign to work out for me. =/
