Please develop Admin password/passcode for Deezer Family so children and teens will not be able to switch accounts or change content preferences.  Ie) toggle off  “Hide explicit content” and “Do not recommend explicit content"

Would love for an update from Deezer on this, as it’s a pretty large security hole in terms of parental controls.

We’re currently on a trial for deezer and looking to switch services, and we love all the features and the ease of importing playlists, but it’s going to be a non-starter if a family admin can’t protect their own account from a family member being able to switch into their profile.

Hi @kellyjack @piatopia! Thanks for the suggestion!

I’ll make sure to pass it on to our team.

I will not use deezer without this. A simple pin to switch accounts is necessary.

Hi, Has there been any response from your developers? This doesn’t feel like a complicated change for them to make and I am another user who is now considering cancelling during the free trial as you don’t actually provide a family account as advertised. A filer that can be bypassed in just a few clicks isn’t a filter at all.

I specifically want to use Deezer for my 10 year old as it doesn’t allow the videos that are so ubiquitous now on Spotify. But I’d also like to be able to protect the admin and set it so that if I decide to limit what she can listen to, she won’t be able to change it. Young tech users are very savvy and able to follow instructions to remove filters - indeed, they’re better at it than most adult users.
