Another idea to throw about. Its not an essential addition to deezer, but I thought it might be cool to have a full screen mode, like Spotify, it shows you what your listening too, and maybe the ability to add lyrics on the side, that way, if your gaming, its nice and minimalist on one of your other monitors, and doesn't distract you?

Hi @Cloink, it's a cool idea!

Bumping up this old idea, because the full screen online tool Descent has a new feature to either show the currently scrobbling or the previously scrobbled track. As the internal Deezer scrobbling option does not provide the “now playing” info to Last.fm, you only got a black screen with the line “Nothing in the air...” in the past when trying to use Descent with the Deezer desktop app scrobbling to your Last.fm account.

Here is a screenshot I made the other day in Edge with Descent’s new feature:

You can also check my currently scrobbling track and/or the previous one here:

To configure Descent you can simply press the S key now for “Settings” or H for “Help” as before to enable or disable the additional infos like the clock, weather, scrobbling data etc. also change the background image.

This also works with other methods, apps and streaming sites that can scrobble like your local music files, network streamers, Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, Qobuz, Bandcamp, SoundCloud et al.

There are a few related ideas on this community, maybe they should be merged to collect the votes:

Full screen cover view | Deezer Community, bringing music lovers together

Full screen player | Deezer Community, bringing music lovers together (for Android)

Strongly echoing this idea, having a full screen mode showing artist / album artwork with minimal playbar and song info (similar to Spotify) is a nice UI option and fairly standard with other providers.  Is this on the roadmap?

hey there @GRuss

since this is s five-year-old thread with three replies and eight votes, I’m guessing it’s not on the front burner, but maybe at some point another one of the community managers will weigh in with something more definitive.
