Right now the desktop app plays audio through the output selected by Windows. This means that other than Deezer audio, I also hear other Windows sounds such as warnings, Teams notifications etc.

If the desktop app had an option to override the Windows audio output you could set it to another source and allow only the Deezer output to flow through your headphones. Tidal has this feature and it’s great. It could be implemented with a simple toggle to allow users that doesn’t like it to turn it off.

Thanks for the idea

Qobuz has this feature and it’s nice to be able to separate the music from other audio streams. Especially with headphones on.

I have been waiting this feature since 2 years now…. is it still in discussion ? You really treat your users like s****

If it is not implemented by the end of the year, I will resign and move to another another platform.

Apologies @PikaTcH. We don’t have an ETA for this feature so I have updated the idea status now.

Confirmed, I will leave your platform at the end of the month to move to the leader.

You are such joke Deezer !

I cannot see what is the issue here. This is the most expensive streaming app and cannot add this feature, what is the reason? I am in the trial period (first day) but seems that I am not going to stay...

Hi @ras23! Thanks for sharing your feedback!

Right now, it’s not something available on the desktop app, but we really appreciate you bringing it up.

I’ll make sure to pass it along to the team.
