Can we get a native app for Linux?

Hi, I’m a user on Arch linux, and I was wondering if it was possible to make a native app for Linux? I would really love to setup media keybinds that I can use to control my music as I work on my computer and laptop. Kinda like the integration that Spotify’s app has. I could then set up status icons on my desktop as well that would allow for more control without having to have the tab open and switch back and forth between tabs/windows. I can also try running the Windows app with Wine but I just wondered if a native app was possible. Thanks!

Hello @i-possess-rabies! Thanks for your suggestion!

Currently, a native Linux app isn't a top priority, but we really appreciate your feedback.

We understand the convenience of media key binds and desktop integration, and we'll keep it in mind for future updates.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or ideas! 😊

Hi to all!

I’m one of many to say goodbye to spotify these days, and I was wondering which streaming service would be a good alternative for linux users. I’m surprised that there is no alternative to spotify for a linux desktop. You could attract many of us with a minimal native app!

Dear Santa, please let Deezer put the Linux app on the list :)

Linux is great and your developers will have a lot of fun by the way.

Merci à tous et keep on rockin’, @Leonídia.Deezer
