Please let us change the language in the desktop app itself not in the browser (btw changing the language in the browser didn't affect my desktop app even after restarting it, but that's another topic)

I don't like webapps and i think the desktop app should have the same functionality as the webapp. definitely not less

Hey @chuanito

Thanks for the idea. I've passed it on.
Hopefully other users will also vote for it 😉

Hello,

Yes, please make it possible to change Deezer display language on the desktop application! Not on mobile device, but Mac or PC app: setting preferred language on the https://www.deezer.com/ website is not reflected to the desktop application. Or I can’t find the way to do it in the app…
Thanks,
Clément

found a workaround

1-go to your deezer folder (where you have it installed)

2-go to the locales folder

3-there are a bunch of language files there, delete every one of them except the one you want to be your language

Thanks, it worked. At first, the folder was not there, I think because I installed it via windows store; but when I uninstalled it and installed it via the DeezerDesktopSetup*.exe, the folder popped there.

Thanks for the workaround, boom1430.
It baffles me that there is apparently proper fallback behavior for missing language packs, but no option to select a preferred one. This issue is marked “not for now” and I sincerely hope they'll reconsider
