Android Auto - Recently Played

In Android Auto, within the menu options there should be a Recently Played option, so that I can play an album or artist that I played recently. Spotify has this option in Android Auto, so you can look at their approach to see what I mean.

I find this really annoying too when ever I want to change and album or playlist I get timed out by Android and the prompt to keep my eyes on the road starts to count down. 

Anythingt makes the process easier and quicker is welcomed in my eyes not just from a safety perspective but from an ease of use too.
