I organise my songs in long playlists with hundreds of songs. I often want to move songs to or from a playlist. Therefore I have to mark them one by one by clicking the small checkboxes. It would be very handy if I could mark them via shift+click. An example could be that I click the checkbox of a song in my playlist and then shift+click the checkbox of another song. Now all of the songs in between should also be checked. To unmark them I can do the same procedure again or click "mark all" twice.
I’ve been using Deezer for a while as my primary tool to listen to music. It honestly blows my mind that this feature hasn’t been made yet.. It seems so obvious. I’ve had times where I have to manually select hundreds of specific tracks, while not selecting all of them at once. I’m saddened to see that this request was made over a year ago and has still not been completed.
Bump! I need this feature! Here’s the quick breakdown of how this could work:
shift + click on playlist row checkbox select all rows up to the row of the clicked checkbox from either:
the closest selected playlist row, or if none then
the first playlist row
you cannot deselect multiple playlist rows at once unless you click the select/deselect all checkbox (in column header) - OR - shift + click selected checkboxes to deselect all selected playlist rows from start of selected rows to the clicked checkbox row
ctrl + click on checkbox select/deselect single playlist row when multiple rows are selected
The absence of a multiple track select feature on Deezer is a deal breaker for me. I’ll be moving my account to Tidal (whose interface is almost identical to Spotify).
Also, why can’t I see a dropdown list of playlists on the left screen menu? I should be able to simply drag and drop multiple songs into another playlist, like I would (and have) with my own personal library of songs or my Spotify and Tidal accounts.
And why can’t I organize my playlists into folders?
After migrating away from Spotify, I can’t believe most music streaming services don’t include these extremely basic piece of UI. I thought I’d found a Spotify replacement with Deezer but Tidal it is instead.
You guys have a near perfect streaming service that’s sabotaging its own success by failing to include these features. Not every user just streams the same top 100 playlist on their phone.
I love the range and quality of the music but I will be moving back to another service at the end of this month, as the UI is too painful to use without shift-click.
This is a 4 year old feature request, and basic functionality of list management in any software. I’m beginning to think Deezer simply does not care about UI/UX.
I'm really disappointed that this still isn't a thing. I'm making a roadtrip playlist and it's honestly painful when you have to individually move hundreds of tracks. Maybe I'll have to go back to another service.
2 years to put it from discussion to not for now and 2 years later still nothing wth?

I mean hes right its not an big feature to implement nor should it be hard to implement…
Just transferred my old liked tracks from Spotify through Soundiiz.
However - because of this feature missing, I am now unable to move the 1000 songs I have now in my ‘liked’ tracks to their own playlist in Deezer, NOR DELETE the tracks.
PLEASE, THIS IS SUCH A BASIC FEATURE.
I am NOT clicking over 1000 times in order to move or delete the songs. I love the service otherwise - but this needs to be updated ASAP.
Update : (In case someone is having the same issue as I did.)
I managed to now move the tracks to their own playlist through Soundiiz - but this isn’t really a thing a user should have to do through a 3rd party app. Such basic features shouldn’t be outsourced to external services.
I am beyond frustrated and really contemplating on my Streaming-service choices now.
I am currently checking the different services to choose where to move. I had almost decided to move to Deezer, but if there is no easy way to do selection of multiple tracks, I will have to pass. Too bad, Deezer is the best of the bunch until now, but this is a dealbreaker for me!
A premium streaming platform has to support users who wish to make mixes/playlists. To really support making mixes, that platform has to have a user friendly UI that allows users to move tracks around in bulk when working within a long playlist. Little fixes like this make a huge difference to usability. Clicking boxes individually is actually quite tedious in a long playlist, whereas shift functionality is extremely easy (and something that users are accustomed to expect).
I would also second the excellent point made by the user above: keyboard control is a basic compliance standard for making a program accessible for individuals with Disabilities.
