We need to be able to receive notifications of new music from artists with few followers.

I would keep it simple: separate favorites and notifications. Let us choose the artists for whom we want to receive notifications. Give us the opportunity to have two distinct lists - one for the artists we love and another for those we want to receive notifications about for each new release, all of them, without exceptions. This way, you would not even need complicated algorithms; it would be enough to notify us only about the artists for whom we have deliberately and explicitly activated notifications.

  I agree with you on this. It is a really great idea to be able to receive notifications through the favorites list without the need for an algorithm system. I hope we will use your idea in its realized form🥹.

I just found this posting. If that is the way deezer works then my thoughts go to not giving this company any more money. I have been fighting new notifications issues for a while now.

Majority of my bands are smaller in follower count but more talented than the artists with higher follower counts.
