So I left an App Store review and got a reply to put my suggestions here so here I go! (Skip to the idea for a solution if you don’t want to read this whole thing)
context:
I want to use Deezer instead of Spotify, but Spotify doesn’t add in as many new songs to my playlists, and it also tells me what songs it’s adding in. When I tried to use Deezer I made a couple playlists, my playlists were specifically so I could listen to the music of one particular artist or another but every other song Deezer added in a random song. This interrupted my music experience because it prevented me from getting to know the artist I was trying to explore, it also creates an accessibility problem for me. I’m autistic and music can be very overstimulating for me. I need to be able to start a playlist I know will be safe for me to listen to, and not have to worry about new songs getting thrown in. I can deal with this issue to some degree by blocking/hiding songs, but when it’s every other song it’s just too much.
Idea for a solution:
have 2 listening modes, a mix mode and a play mode. The mix mode adds in new songs for the people who want to explore new music, and a play mode for the people who just want to listen to what’s in the playlist.
my other issue:
another issue I addressed in my AppStore review was selecting 15 artists to get started, there is already a post on here about that called “selecting 15 artists to use Deezer is nonsense” if you think there should be an option to skip selecting 15 artists please visit that post and leave a reply saying that- it will help the devs know it’s something they need to add. Here is a link to that post making it easy:
