please, add Deezer device support for Wiim mini Airplay 2 streamer

application and what we have in wiim mini are two different worlds. please support Deezer application for cooperation with wiim mini.

Anyone else having the problem where Wiim seems to keep disconnecting from the Deezer app and it gives you random favorite artists and albums? I have to log out and back in virtually every time I want to change an album. Might have to reluctantly use Tidal 

Yes, even after the update. Actually it starts in FLAC like everything is normal then switches to MP3 at 128kbps and skips after 30s into the track. 
 

and same after a while the favorites show albums that are not my favorites. So still have to log out and back

crossing fingers but it looks like now both the app and the firmware have been updated, that problem seems to be gone for me 

Still, being able to use the Deezer app would be so much better !

I was wrong, the problem is occurring again, back to MP3/128k and skipping after 30s 

@Yula   Please, you really need to pass this one to the development team. It’s not a small issue. The Wiim app is the only budget streamer on the market and a high number of your users likely are switching to Tidal because of the lack of functionality, or are simply not signing up with Deezer. So Deezer is leaving money on the table by not looking into this issue. The issue is that the Wiim is having an issue with API integration and the best solution would be to do what Spotify does and simply have it so you can use the native Deezer app. Of all the bugs and issues your team is working on, this should honestly be a higher priority. Wiim has suggested they are looking into it but I doubt it is a high priority for them (and they keep dishonestly advertising that it works with Deezer despite this rather large bug). 

I have been testing Spotify since yesterday and Spotify connect is soooo convenient, I didn’t expect that !!! Driving the Wiim from the native app is so good and the synchronization between the different instance of Spotify (on the computer, the phone, the iPad) makes it a seamless experience. I’m loving it.

And I have been trying to differentiate the sound quality, but my ears can’t tell for sure. The only thing I can tell is that the headphone output of my SMSL AD18 definitely doesn’t match the modest Fiio Q1 portable DAC (which is in my opinion hardly powerful enough to push my AKG K702) for my desktop setup.

My practice of music is not about sitting still with my eyes closed to justify the price of my équipement. So convenience beats the minuscule gain in quality.

But I’ll regret the Deezer interface, I think it is cleaner and more convenient to discover new sounds

Tidal and Qobuz have too many inconvenient little things for my usage, not worth the increase in quality (that I can hardly hear anyway)

Please add Wiim support. This streamer is a dream for the budget and i bought it for streaming deezer.
now also the logouts and 128 kBit mp3s.
Would love to stay with deezer, but saying “NOT FOR NOW” makes me rethink the deezer thing, although  I love it.
Please look into this.

Damm, I read thi thread too late, I've ordered this morning a WiiM mini…

Is it true that Deezer won't work with this streamer ? Something change ? 

Today wiim mini updated to the new firmware version: 4.6.504752 , when I opened the wiim app it showed me a popup that they fixed the deezer api issue. I didn’t take screenshot, I thought I can see on the release notes section, but at the time of writing still not exist on the notes yet: https://wiimhome.com/releaseNote

I have just started to listen just now while I am writing this post, but will see if logged out and play 30secs of song or not.

I can confirm that after more than half an hour listening never logged out and I even checked time to time within the app Deezer shows my playlists correctly, previously It shows dummy playlist because it was logged out somehow. Good news :)

Can u confirm that bug resolved?

@Yula  I'm sorry, but in my opinion you are missing out on a good growth opportunity, especially now that the WiiM pro is also coming to the European market. Not exploiting the numbers of a growing community having on your side a service with a high quality and a good price (especially for the annual pass) seems counterproductive to me.

Well, the new Wiim Pro has support for Chromecast, and they recently promised to be roon ready within the next 2–3 months. Though, they cannot guarantee roon on the Wiim Mini because of the Memory and processor limitations. 

All is not lost for the Wiim fans, especially with the new Pro. 

Personally, I’m going to use my Wiim Mini with Spotify until the Wiim Pro is roon ready, then I will switch to it and use roon+deezer. Still $320 cheaper than the Bluesound Node :-p
