The ability to browse offline music by Artist instead of just Album

I'm at my wit's end with Spotify due to the numerous bugs with their mobile app, so I've decided to give Deezer a try. Frankly, I am totally fine with almost everything about the user experience in Deezer even though in some regards it's quite different from Spotify. However, the one thing that is preventing me from fully kicking Spotify and committing to Deezer is the ability to browse my offline music by Artist, not just album. When you have hundreds of albums downloaded like myself, browsing by album is not very user friendly, no matter the UI. I am happy that you guys have a search feature (that alone made me cancel my Tidal trial), but it is much easier to browse by artist. I treat these apps like an old school mp3 player where you can browse by artist, then pick an album, then a song on that album, but I'm not sure how many users treat these apps like that.

An alternative, potentially easier idea is you put the little green “downloaded” dot next to the artist names in the artist section, so I can scroll through that and quickly see which artists have offline music. Not sure if that would be easier.

I have no idea how difficult either implementation would be, and I understand that unlike Spotify, the artist library isn't necessarily “connected” to the albums that you favorite by that artist. If either of those ideas would be possible, I'd be set!

Thanks for listening.

Hi there. I think it's a difficult feature to work on. Some artists have hundreds of songs and if it would be too much to get it downloaded in your device's memory.

I'm going to pass this idea on to our developers team and hopefully they'll be able to come up with ana alternative :)
