Please add BBC Podcasts in the UK

Hi everyone I'm admitting defeat and have started using Spo... Spot.. (it pains me to say it) Spotify for podcasts. My favourite is the podcast above and Spotify have it along with many others AND I can play in the order I want and I can play at a faster speed.

C'mon Deezer always too late to the game so frustrating.

WAIT I take it back I can't do it. I'm using Google's podcast app and also BBC sounds app for their podcasts. Can't have Spotify on my phone just can't do it! #deezerhead #fanboy

I just did a search for "bbc" in the spotify web player and checked the listed podcasts, there are a lot of them:

Don't know if this would also work in a Spotify mobile app though.

yes it's annoying as some BBC show's but not their most popular (the one I mention above is downloaded the most weekly from the BBC, 250k+ per week) and would be great if I could listen through Deezer!

EDIT: The podcats I want is BBC "Kermode and Mayo Weekly Film Review" (thought I'd mentioned it above)

Also filled in the catalogue request from @Rudi, but wondered if you could give any sort of update? I'm literally (this evening) in the process of moving from Spotify to Deezer, mainly due to my BMW having Deezer built into the dashboard itself!

BBC UK podcasts are quite literally the only things that Deezer is lacking, but these are significant parts.In fact I listen to Podcasts more than I do music.

Deezer is literally three times (BMW rate) the price of Spotify Premium (student rate) - and I'd happily pay the extra due to the car integration and Deezer has some other features I like, but it still needs to match Spotify on the basics.

As this post is over a year old... anything you can tell us yet @Rudi?

I've filled in the catalogue request as well. I've noticed there is some BBC Podcasts on Deezer (just not the one I want) so I'm guessing it's possible (I know spotify show all of the BBC ones). My fingers are crossed! 🙂

I wonder if the ones Deezer carry are those offered by BBC Worldwide or something similar. Explains why there's just a couple when there's hundreds from the BBC offered on Spotify but also countless other, free podcast apps.

Things like Brexitcast, Beyond Today and The Infinite Monkey Cage etc. All missing from Deezer but are elsewhere.

Shame as this is the sole thing Deezer doesn't do / have.

Hoping since your post is over a year old there would be some progress or at least an update @Rudi could share with us...

I know Deezer have just partnered with 5 global podcast companies I expect to see a lot of changes over the coming months with regards to the podcast offerings/player etc. :)

Hopefully somebody can get the BBC podcasts on Deezer......
