Hi all,

While working at home I use the Deezer Windows app and have these speakers connected via USB (https://www.edifier.com/product-s880db.html).

When i charge my phone via this USB port is gives me a message: โ€˜slow charging - check cableโ€™.
How do i know if this USB-port is fast enough for the HiFi FLAC output?
Is there any way to check the data transfer speed?

Is there any advise what data transfer speed is necessary when using the HiFI quality?

Thanks in advance.

Hey @Barendrecht

It will depend on your USB port type although most modern computers have 3.0 already, you need to check your computer specifications.๐Ÿ”Œ

I found the following on the Sony support:

"The Universal Serial Bus (USB) specification stipulates five data transfer rates:
USB 1.0/Low-Speed: 1.5 Megabits per second (Mbps)
USB 1.1/Full-Speed: 12 Mbps.
USB 2.0/Hi-Speed: 480 Mbps.
USB 3.0/SuperSpeed: 5 Gbps."

The speed  is usually determined mostly by the USB-port itself or the device. The device supports HIFI so I wouldn't see the problem with the USB ports.๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿฝ

Take care. ๐Ÿ˜Š
