For years now (let’s just say forever), I have been hearing the same songs from the same playlists, which is so crazy annoying!

What does the algorithm behind the shuffle button actually do? And when?

Is a playlist immediately added to the shuffle routine when it is downloaded?

What’s going on here!? Finally fix it, or tell us what to do!

Hi @ianj74 !

There are two shuffle options
Shuffle my music and regular shuffle , which one did you mean exactly?

With the Shuffle my music option you start a shuffle with the all music that is in your favorites .

If you start a regular shuffle e.g. on a playlist , then in shuffle mode only songs from that playlist are played .

The two arrows will be purple when shuffle is turn on. When shuffle is turn off, the two arrows will be white.

Start playing the first song from the playlist/album and then turn on regular shuffle .

You can also select multiple albums or playlists to listen to in shuffle .

I don’t know what this is the answer to, but it was not the answer to my question:

Why do the suffle buttons in Deezer work so bad?
