When using Deezer on Android Auto i cannot fast forwed or rewind by eg 20s or 30s. This is standard in other apps. Why is this still not available of Deezer? Really quite frustrating that such basics are not core to the experience. When will this be available?

I’ve pass the feedback to our devs but I can’t guarantee if it will be available or not.
Thanks and apologies for the inconvenience

I’ll second this. I’m not sure how android auto takes an app and displays the interface, but an option may be to just be able to switch the skip (previous and next) with the fast forward or rewind buttons. If android auto is just taking the two buttons adjacent to the play button, then an option for the user to switch the layout may fix it. Otherwise just adding those buttons in would be a great help, even if having to switch to the music player to access them. Best option would be to have the forward/rewind buttons available when in a different interface like navigation, but we’ll take what we can get I think.

Has there been any type of update on this? Every other service I’ve used has this function, and I would argue that it’s a safety hazard that should be highly prioritized.

There are many reasons people might want to go forward/back a few seconds when listening to a podcast while driving—and most of those reasons will be because their attention was pulled away by a matter on the road and they would like to go back and hear what they missed.

Sure, we could say that they should just  either cut their losses and continue operating the vehicle safely, or pull over to rewind, or whatever the case may be, but the reality is that people aren’t going to do that. They’re going to try to find the time by messing with either the monitor on their car or by picking up their phone.
