Repetitive "Shuffle my music" // keeps playing the same songs

I used to use FLOW all the time, but it played the same music over and over, sometimes one song would play twice in 15 minutes. When I recently discovered "Shuffle My Music" I was happy because I could see what was going to be played and it wouldn't repeat anything (at least not for the 50 songs of the playlist). However, "Shuffle My Music" still suffers from issues FLOW had, namely only playing one or two specific songs from favourite artists and playing the same songs every time. If I pressed "Shuffle My Music" multiple times you can be sure that 80% of the songs in any playlist would be in every other playlist.
So, my question: how do I fix My Music? How do I get FLOW or "Shuffle My Music" to have variety? How do I get more than one song from an artist (no matter how many albums and songs they may have) to play?

So for a while now the 'Shuffle My Music' function on the iOS app keeps looping the same songs and has a very limited selection based on my fairly extension album library. I don't think a Muse or Radiohead song has ever cropped when using this feature on my iPhone, even through I have almost all of their albums for example.
Why is this?
The 'Shuffle My Music' function on the web version of the site seems to work fine. I'm listening to this now and already I'm reminiscing on old songs that I haven't heard in a while, but are nonetheless in my library. Wish I could experience this when apparently I use the same feature in my car, or whilst at the gym.
Can you please explain why the iOS app is extremely limited here? This bug alone has got me thinking I should switch over to Spotify, but since I've used Deezer for a long time, I'm willing to raise the question before moving on.

Hi @Fabio.Martinelli the 50 songs limit is a technical decision from our developers, but the songs shouldn't be the same. I've tested here on mine and on your accounts and got different songs every time. Could you try maybe clearing the cache and updating the app to see if it helps?

Hi @Fabio.Martinelli , that's strange. As mentioned we weren't able to reproduce the issue. Have you tried to change the order of the tracks in the playlist before casting? Just to test if that changes anything 🙂

I wanted to add for the desktop app does it only shuffle songs from your favorites? I wish it would Shuffle songs from your entire albums list playlists etc.

To Shuffle everything, go to My music > shuffle my music. That should should shuffle for everything you have saved, not only fav songs 😉

Hey Ana. It doesn't, there maybe be 2 that are not starred and when I say 2 I mean 2. And again thus seems to be a desktop problem on an iMac.

Simply tap the angry face while playing the Flow and then select "More Discoveries."
I am struggeling to understand as it seems a contradiction. I understand the first batch is always the same songs more or less, but plays them in different order every time?
Yes, my response seem not quite clear even for me now, sorry :)
What i was tying to say is that i didnt notice that this repeating batch has lots of popular tracks or contains only popular artists, so there's no problem for me with the songs in the batch (someone said that they have some songs favored over the others while shuffling). The only issue for me is that the first batch stucks and getting repeated between "shuffle my library" sessions.

Actually same goes for both mobile and app. The best option is you can shuffle play your downloaded album better which are there not limited to the starred limitation. Seriously though. You guys should look into this and maybe ease the track mix to at least 100.

That's odd, I use the desktop on a mac too and it definitely shuffles from everything. For me it's easy to check because I don't really have many favorites (I use the favorites more to keep track of songs I'm currently obsessed with 😃 ) as you have many favorites and fav albums it might be a bit harder to check but I'll do some tests and investigate this for you 👍

Had one thing to add. Just wanted to bring to your attention the music apps page in the android versuon, allot of the apps don't work. Only the ones with the Deezer simbol work. The ones with an android symbol beside it and I am using an android phone never work. You guys aware of this? To bad cause one if them involved typing and artist name and getting recommendations for artists that gave the same vibe.

And always the same ones, day after day, and same behaviour on my iphone app, on the web on MAC, on the app on MAC and on the web on Windows. Then many of my playlists are never used in the Shuffle.
It is really too bad.
Please try to fix this, as I'm a great fan of shuffle playing.

Same Here, Tried Desktop Client, App and website.
When I click on "Shuffle", It just plays the shuffle list without restarting it. I also tried to clear SmartCache (which is shared between the clients).
I can still shuffle my favorite songs list, better than nothing I guess

Even worse for me. Not only does "shuffle my music" onyl picks 20 songs, but they're almost always the same, and they include songs which are NOT even remotely in my library.

Focusing on the second one, neither the song, nor the album nor the artist are in my library. And not in any playlist..

And why on earth would cleaning the cache have anything to do with this? Same songs and albums are chosen on mobile and both of my 2 computers.
that's strange. I haven't noticed that. Would you mind deleting your smart cache and restarting the app? does that help?

I still have this problem and I cleared out my cache, but even on desktop it uses the same 50 songs.
