agreed. 3 days ago (10th April 2018) it was in a number of Irish press pages that Deezer was now available in Ireland to link to Google Home, quoting vice president of Deezer Technical Riad Hawa. Consequently I ended my subscription to the inferior google music and linked Deezer to google home. However as soon as I linked the account it dissapeared and can now not be linked again.... VERY DISSAPOINTING.

Hi there, sorry to hear that you have read misleading press releases. We do work though to expand in other countries as well and are hopefully available in Ireland very soon 😉

Has there been any developments with making Deezer Premium available on Google Home in Ireland? I have been a Deezer Premium customer for 3yrs now but I will cancel and subscribe to Spotify instead if Deezer can not integrate with my smart home platform (Google Home).

It is possible to provide a planned date as to when Deezer will be available on the Google Home Mini in Ireland?
In October it was stated that it would be very soon but can someone expand on what "very soon" means?
Please provide a proposed implementation date so that people can then make decisions about moving to an alternate service provider.

I think it's time to move to Spotify premium it's ridiculous that Deezer can't give a timeframe of when it is being rolled out in Ireland given that it's in the UK already. Very disappointing Deezer.

Please provide the expected timeline for release. It is farcical that we are waiting so long without any clear information from Deezer. We are paying a subscription that effectively is inferior to other Deezer users when we are precluded from the full service offering. I now find myself with a free Spotify account providing my music at home. Why should I keep Deezer when the competition delivers?????

I am afraid based on the posts above and lack of any helpful response from Deezer I will also be cancelling my Hi-fi account for Spotify. It amazes me that the responses are so poor.

So I got 3 months free Deezer premium with my LG speaker from Currys.

We spend the same amount on deezer in Ireland and no responses. We just want what everyone else gets. Was delighted getting my Google home thinking I'd be able to play my music on it but no.
Give us a date or just tell us there's no plans for it.

If you cannot provide us a release date for support, can you please provide information on why you are offering your service in only a select number of EU countries? In the european digital single market, all services should be available to all member states and there should be no price discrimination.

In this case, you have your service operating in France and Germany and the UK (for now) who are in the EU. Please provide a date for when your service will be available in Ireland or, advise how I can open a complaint with a tracking number to get an official answer.

This is an idea topic, not a question topic. As shown above, this idea is on discussion, but we still don't have any news from Google Home and Deezer's product team. We will keep passing the feedback on to the right team and hopefully soon we will be able to bring you good news 😉

I have to say I am very disappointed. I have no problem linking Deezer to my Amazon Echo, but I got a new Google mini and I wanted to link it as well and I can't. We have the European HQ's for all these big companies, but Ireland is at the end of the line when it come to rolling out products and services. I am really not impressed 😞

Most other countries have it and the most annoying aspect is that there is total silence from Deezer as to when they expect to have it operational.. It is as if their customers in Ireland don't matter and are an irrelevance to them.

I will give this four more weeks and if I don't get an answer that provides a definitive date, I intend to cancel my subscription and move to Spotify.

Do you really think Google will care if John cancels his Deezer account and sets up one with Spotify instead? Deezer needs to push Google for a date on this asap, not John or any individual community member.

I have both a Google mini and an Amazon Alexa. Alexa does connect to my Deezer account but the functionality of the 'skill' is shockingly bad. This leads me to believe the problem is a lack of technical understanding of these technologies at Deezer.

I love Deezer very much, which is why I've taken the time to type this. It's important because the future of home music is by voice command. Deezer must get its house in order, or perish in the process.

Searched Deezer availability for Google Home in Ireland and the Deezer site claims that its available.

Yet when opening up the google home app which is the latest version, it’s not there.

Will this ever be resolved?

I queried this over a year ago and still no adequate update. Ireland top priority? Can you give us any indication of what this means in terms of estimated timeline?
As per other posts in this string , we are paying for service that is unsatisfactory compared to what other users get in other countries. I am currently paying a subscription for Spotify also just so I can stream music on Google home , some day soon I will realise how stupid this is .. paying for two music seperate subscription services... and I know which one will be going if this is not resolved or at least an estimate of resolution is supplied.

Thanks for the feedback @ab1 we weren't given a timeframe because these can change very quickly but yes, Ireland became a high priority expansion on a small list of countries. I'll try to get more info from the right team and will get back here once a response is given.
