Hello @Oleksii.Karzhaiev apologies for the delay.
Is this still happening?
Thanks

Hello!

Yes, the issue is still happening.

The system reports only a song title and an artist name, but doesn't report an album name and an album artist.

Just started a Deezer trial and am running into this issue myself. Sadly it is a deal breaker and will likely stop me from starting a full subscription.

Strangely, it's only a problem when you listen from a playlist or your Liked Songs. So I guess playlists aren't displaying metadata correctly for the album names.

Update: This can be resolved downgrading to an earlier version of the app (8.0.26.7)

It seems the update in December caused this anomaly. I hope Deezer consider fixing it.

Edit - It's not perfect, there are still scenarios where the album title is missing, such as when listening to the "in your favorites" playlists found on artist pages.

This app sure is rough around the edges.

Which third-party scrobblers are you using instead of the internal Deezer scrobbling option in your Sharing Preferences, and which version of them and your Android OS?

Does this also happen if you use the internal Deezer scrobbling option or only with external Android scrobbling apps?

Hi, thanks for replying.

I use Pano Scrobbler, latest version. It's never had an issue with other services. My Android OS is 14, OneUI 6.1 on a Samsung S24+.

I believe the way Pano works is by reading the media notifications on your phone. For whatever reason, it seems Deezer isn't passing the album metadata in these specific circumstances.

I haven't tried the internal option as I have Pano configured pretty extensively for my needs.

Thank you for your replay.

Looks like that is the case, since I predominantly listen to music from a 'liked songs' playlist.

Hi,

Could you please describe what is Internal Deezer scrobbling?

Unfortunately, my solution of downgrading Deezer's app version didn't last long as the app updated itself last night - even though I've disabled auto updates on the Play Store. Not sure how that happened.
