The ultimate house party experience! Everyone becomes a DJ with Deezer DJ. Also works great for small bars and restaurant who can’t afford hiring a DJ all the time:

  • Connect songs smoothly with a series of transitions you can choose between every two songs.
  • Hype up the party with a few special effects
  • No more awkward silence at the party when switching to another song, Deezer DJ keeps the party going!
  • Become a DJ with just a smartphone!

I’ve been waiting for this feature, I even expect it to be in development already. But in case it isn’t, hereby my idea.

There are millions of small bars in the world that can’t afford DJ’s. Also millions of gatherings among friends at homes happen every day. It would be great of a playlist becomes more smooth and fun, when transitions can be chosen and silence when clicking on another song is being eliminated.

This app can potentially cost DJ’s some gigs, but at the same time it makes DJ’ing accessible for everybody! Only a smartphone needed.

Ideas in other topics talked of connecting Deezer to DJ-apps. This idea is to turn your smartphone into a mixing table.

Hello @Lukas Den Admirant

Please note that article 1 of our Terms of Use (see http://dzr.fm/CGU) clearly states that use of the service is only authorised for personal and private use, with all other uses such as public or for businesses is strictly forbidden.

So your DJ idea would not be allowed in little bars as you were hoping.

We have an option that fades the tracks called Crossfade that for now is only available on iOS and on the Deezer Labs:

Okay, I would think it’s quite an opportunity for Deezer to tap into. It’s you who set the terms ;-)

Well for my personal use I’d welcome the crossfade. I’m using Andriod.
