Hey guys. Sorry if I will ask something existent but it’s hard to choose the right keywords for a search of the issue.

Deezer for mac, Version 5.10.0 (5.10.0.41)

It happens quite often for me. When I open some artist in the evening and after the night I’m trying to play the first song from “Top tracks” it starts playing the third one for example.

On top of my head, I understand that during the night popularity could be changed, but the list is not updated (I guess there is some SSE technology, at least for fetching notifications, but seems like it’s not for other elements of the app). Or it is kind of a problem of “using array indexes as keys for React elements” if you know what I mean :) Maybe it’s better to use song id instead of the index of the element? 🙂 But unfortunately, I can’t reset it even if I try to open another artist and then return back to the previous one. It requires to restart the application to reset the order of the “Top tracks” list.

That’s all. Thank you!

Today trying to go to any artist page in the windows (10) app returns an error “An error occurred, please try again later.” Restarting the app doesn’t fix it.
The artist pages in the webplayer work though.

This bug is present on the Browser app for deezer.

Reproduced with chrome.

Repro steps:

  1. Search for (including quotes)
    "man human"
    in the search bar
  2. Click the artist of the first result (Denki Groove)
  3. Click on the “Top Tracks” tab
  4. Attempt to go back

Expected:

Can go back

Actual:

History changes (location bar and window.history) but page stays.

Hey folks :)

sorry, if that has already been addressed, but I can’t use the media buttons with the Deezer App on MacOS.
Maybe there’s some compatibility issue because I’m on the Big Sur Beta or have I just missed some setting?

Thanks and greeting :)

Have you tried updating the browser @Alexei Shilyaev? I haven't seen a similar report around here. What version of it do you have and what's your OS?

The drop down box said “Recently Added, A-Z Track, A-Z Artist, A-Z Album, Manual. “ Now that box is gone.

I still see that dropdown box in Edge on Windows 10, but there are less options in it: A-Z, Recently Updated, Recently Added and Most Played.

Maybe you are using an adblocker preventing to show the dropdown button which is located at the right besides the search field and the dropdown for type of playlists. Or maybe you are looking at an old or different version in your browser cache, then press Ctrl+F5 to hard refresh the browser tab.

I’m not sure if this is just a display bug, I need to check the audio quality when this is happening, I will report back to you guys, once I can confirm if it’s visual or actual. Thanks!

OK, I misunderstood your posting and thought you meant the overview of all your playlists. But if you want to sort the tracks of a single playlist, you can click on the header of each column, e.g. for A-Z Tracks which will sort all tracks alphabetically either top to bottom or vice versa with a second click, and the third click will restore the former sorting.

I'm double-checking that with our devs @nonstatiq for the time being, could you try cmd + H to hide the app instead of clicking on the cross?

Hi

Please, check this screencast

Hey @Rudi

thanks for the link. Had to try it a few times, but it works now :)

Greetings!!

Thanks for the feedback @Jure Simon we'll certainly pass it on to our devs.

Just wanted to let you know that I resolved this issue. The issue was with the older version of Sql server. After update, the issue is gone 🙂 .

Windows 10 Pro - 1909

AMD Ryzen 3400G - 16GB RAM

Deezer 4.24.0 - Installed by Microsoft store

Deezer HiFi subscription

RAM usage after 1 hour and 15 minutes:

Reinstalled Deezer and delte all old files » no change » still big ram usage

:grimacing:

I am using the desktop app (4.21.0) on Windows 10 and I am having an issue when I go to remove a song from a playlist. When I select “Remove from Playlist” the app doesn’t appear to do perform the action but when I log out and back into the app the song shows removed. It is not updating the playlist immediately to show the change.

I am the administrator of a Family Hi-Fi plan: there are 5 other independent accounts associated with the plan, each with their own credentials.
No one knows each other's credentials, not even me as an admin.

When I log in with my account and look at the list of linked devices, I see those linked to all family members, not just mine.
This could be "normal", since I am the plan admin, although it is NOT possible to tell from the list which account a device in the list is linked to.
I also think that such a list is useless: even for the admin, I think it is still better to see only those associated with his own account and not those of others.

The other problem is that the other accounts also see ALL the devices of all the accounts (obviously by logging in with their own credentials, NOT mine), not just their own, and they can also remove them from the list. This happens if they access Deezer from a PC because in the mobile app they do not see the "Devices" entry in the settings.
I think this behaviour is not correct.
Don't you?
Is it possible to make each independent account only sees its own devices and not those of others?

Update to Windows 10 - 2004

@Rudi

Player stops after some songs (Desktop app 4.20.21) .

It is a very unpleasant and constant issue.

Please keep me posted, yes @Dave.Farmer at the same time I'm in touch with the devs about your reports @aatac @Dave.Farmer :thumbsup_tone2:

Hi mate,

Unfortunately, after some more listening today, it is clear that the issue of buffering after a song has started persists in 4.27. Bah!

The application on the pc consumes a lot of RAM, and so it has been for more than one year! Spotify consumes nothing by comparison. Please fix this bug! And in general, the application that on the PC and on the phone slows down, the eternal loading of the track, and this is with a 300 megabit Internet! I use a few Hi-Fi subscriptions and don't want to switch to other services because of these bugs.

@Rudi @moxy Double-checked the app version and it hadn’t updated yet, all is working well now. Thanks!

Hello!

Deezer stopped working on Windows 10 desktops (both App and Web) beginning from last Friday (21.10.2022). For some reason all the traffic is denied from our office external IP address.

WEB

APP

Looks, like you’re offline

But mobile App works fine on mobile network.

Also, Web app works from browser, when VPN is activated (was tested in Opera).

Could you suggest what could be the reason for blocking the IP address and/or service?  Or this could be the problem on ISP side?

Thanks,

Yaroslav

@Rudi Would personally like to debug with a dev if possible. I really like this app, and want to keep using it, but this bug is really frustrating. Faster they can collect data/logs on the playback error the faster this bug will be patched.

@Rudi Deezer 5.30.10 + Windows 10 20H2 (19042.1083), and I use default motherboard’s DAC Realtek ALC887 with external DAC Creative Sound Blaster Play 3.

Hi there @Aleksey Khlevnoy

Sorry to hear that. Please try reinstalling the app and clearing cache and cookies from the browser. If you could also change the audio quality settings and report back to us, I'd be really grateful! :v_tone2:

How weird this sounds, but I got kicked out of all the apps Deezer. I went back in again and the music stopped hanging.

Thanks for the feedback @Dawid_m I'll pass it on!

Hey @Music Maven Gapless is currently being developed for our desktop app, hang in there, we'll have it soon!

About the playlists curated by you, my apologies, but I'm not sure I understood you. Could you please post a screenshot of the playlists and lack of info? Thank you!

I can’t help but notice that over a year has passed, and still no gapless playback in the Windows app.

“Soon” might have a different meaning to you than it does to me…

Any updates on when it will be here?

I also still don’t see any “Album”-column in the queue view. Any news on that?

Good taste on music @T Sh :relaxed:

Hey @JRG1

I'll pass your details on, but please both do the following:

  • Uninstall the app
  • Search for %appdata and delete any Deezer folder you find
  • Restart your computer
  • Reinstall the app, version 4.32

And then let me know how it goes, so that I can pass the info further to our devs :thumbsup_tone2:

@Grabzzky please try the same as well, the track is playing fine on my 4.32 version of the app as well. I'll be waiting for your reply!
