I have Cross Device Queue List synchronization enabled on both Android and Windows 10 and it is not working.

Queue list is being pushed from Windows 10 to Android but not vice versa.

The Windows 10 app actually overrides my active queue on my Android device.

Which is not desirable, I want Win 10 to display my queue that is sitting on my Android device.

It’s annoying because the only  way you can save a random playlist from Android mobile is to have the playlist appear in Windows 10 app. But even that shit is not working, Deezer is getting be very frustrating lately.

Broken promises and broken features. I’m at my wits end.

When I relaunch the player, the play queue is the standard default selection of some current tracks.

Did you enable play queue synchronisation in the audio quality settings? Then it should be saved in the cloud to be accessible on all your Deezer devices.

When I play a playlist there is often a short interuption at the start  each new song. Happens both in Android app and desktop app.

Web player Windows desktop notification for now playing song doesn’t work properly. It appears 2 times, firstly with right artist name plus cover and track title from the previous song, the second time with all info correct.

Example on gif, songs played: Rainbow “The Temple of the King” → Rush “Tom Sawyer”

I have noticed that windows app (4.29.0) doesn’t show all albums for some artists in Albums section. Missing albums are being shown in More albums section in the bottom.

Hey @Shadowshev

Sorry to hear about that.

Could you please try reinstalling the app and restarting your PC to see if it helps?

The desktop app just randomly crashes on Windows 10. Sometimes when clicking through a song and sometimes while the app is on the background and im not even touching it. I tried the browser player to see if it would also crash but it just seemed to buffer way too much. I have used Spotify and Tidal which neither had buffering or crashing issues, just saying that my internet connection should be fast enough. (100mbps)

Are there any good known stunts to perform which could potentially help with the crashing?

Hi. I'm using the web browser version of deezer. For a couple days it's not anymore possible to listen music with the browser because about error MS0610. I've already cleared my cache and cookies - it doesn't work. But if i open deezer in incognito mode it works. What should i do, to fix this error/bug?

I always use email and password.

I don't intend to change the password now, as other members of my family use it.

Beaside, the password works on phone app and phone webbrowser.

I use Microsoft Edge as default browser both in computer as in pc. It works on phone, as I said.

Just remembered to try Chrome on pc, and it worked.

Must be any Edge configuration.

Thanks for your reply.

Regards.

Hi there @rtg

Thanks for coming back. No need to change your password then.

For the Edge, like I said above, you just need to clear cache and cookies and it should work again. Enjoy Deezer :v_tone2:

Thanks for the hint. I have tried play queue synchronisation before and I suppose it would work for this. However, I listen on multiple devices, often for different purposes, and I rather prefer to keep the play queues separate.

I am having an issue where my primary monitor is flickering when Deezer is selected. The issue goes away when I move Deezer over to my secondary monitor, or when I select another window (ex. Deezer is still on my main monitor, but I click on Chrome instead). I am on Deezer 5.20.0, and Windows 10 Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042.

I’m using version 5.20 on Windows 10 . Sometimes I get an error “The content is not available .Try again later” when I’m navigating to the Albums section . Only restart to the app fixes it .

Hi there @romu70 @pithy_prolix

Sorry for the experience.

Please reinstall the app (4.29 should be available to you by now), restart your computer and internet router, then clear cache and cookies from your default browser and keep me posted!

There's an issue we're investigating on Firefox at the moment @romu70, so perhaps try another browser :thumbsup_tone2:

@Rudi I was helped through the email support and it is working now. Thank you.

Hey @Music Maven Gapless is currently being developed for our desktop app, hang in there, we'll have it soon!

About the playlists curated by you, my apologies, but I'm not sure I understood you. Could you please post a screenshot of the playlists and lack of info? Thank you!

Hi Rudi, sounds good about gapless!

About the missing album information, I can see that it’s specific to the “Queue” view. If I e.g. start the “Yacht Rock” playlist (created by a Deezer editor), and open the Queue view, all information about the source albums are missing from all tracks, both in the list and beneath the cover graphic, as well as there being no option in the menus to access the related album for any track. And note that this goes for any queue, also when playing an album, or a playlist that I created myself. It’s a limitation of the queue view that I intensely dislike - I see no reason to hide the album info, just because I’m in the queue view.

I’m attaching a screenshot of the queue view of the Yacht Rock playlist as an example.

No album info anywhere!

Deezer keeps recommending tracks even though I have already added them to my exclusions. This happens across all devices and platforms.

Hi! Desktop app often crashes without reporting errors and some kind of actions on my part, just when playing music. Windows 10, DAC Fiio E10K (no DAC drivers since they are even more buggy, just Windows drivers). After restarting the application, it continues to work normally.

It also happens to me, sometimes.

Just doesn’t work. Fix it.

@Rudi Sure thing. https://deezer.page.link/gfgWwd27TpQ71VXF8

The issue is related to desktop app (Windows).

Windows 10, version 4.34.10

If you're on the Favourites page you can't go to preferences/Account Settings or Profile page, you need to switch to music/podcasts/explore

FYI

Win11 desktop app.

I have been having issues with the app crashing when you try to move the window.

Noticed that it was using the GPU rather than the intel processor standard graphics.

Changed the windows “System\Display\Graphics” to force it to use “Power Saving” mode, now its using the normal gpu, and its not crashing anymore.

Sorry, scratch #1 please. It works through the desktop app, it’s just very misleading because there’s no visual feedback on upload.

  1. When you click on ‘Select MP3s’, then select the files you want to upload, then they start uploading (silently) and you scroll all the way down, it only goes down 40 tracks and the files being uploaded appear as 41, 42 and so on. When you then click on the new files, Deezer plays different tracks (apparently the real 41, 42 and so on). Restarting app/refreshing page helps
  2. In addition to #4 there’s also no sorting in the MP3s tab, so it’s actually impossible to find anything in this tab
  3. Group operations are impossible in the MP3s tab. You can’t click on one track, then hold Shift and click on a few tracks down so it highlights the range of tracks. Instead you have to tick the box on every single track, which is extremely tedious
  4. There is no way to organise your playlists (folders, hierarchy, collections etc). If you have many of them (I have about a hundred) it becomes extremely difficult to navigate. Also the only available view mode in the playlist tab is tiles, so you can’t put them in a list and sort in different ways. Good news is that the search box actually works.
