GUTS: Olivia Rodrigo's long-awaited second album is finally here. A mix of songs that capture the entire spectrum of human feeling with sounds that seek to bring order to the chaos of sudden fame at a young age
After the success of drivers license and her first album SOUR, Olivia Rodrigo became a leading figure in the music world, captivating a variety of audiences with her authenticity and raw emotions. She won 3 Grammy Awards for her debut: Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Pop Solo Performance.
Now, Rodrigo is back and she looks to ignite the music world again with her second album, GUTS.
Vampire, the inceptive single from her latest album is a pop-rock composition driven by piano, electric guitar and synthesisers, and dominated the charts in the UK, USA, Australia and Europe upon its release in June 2023. Olivia said of her reasoning for picking vampires as the lead single, “felt like an evolution — in a good way that wasn't too stark".

I think that's just a natural part of growing up, and I hope the album reflects that."
