It’s been seven years since One More Light and Chester Bennington’s tragic passing—an event many thought would mark the band’s end. Yet in 2024, Linkin Park returns with From Zero, a nod to their original name, Xero.

Reformation

Freshly reformed with new vocals from Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain on drums, From Zero feels and sounds very much a reflection of the new Linkin Park. For long-time fans, there are definitely familiar Nu metal elements, but there's definitely been some changes, which is apparent in several of the tracks.

My choice picks include The Emptiness Machine, Heavy is the Crown, Two Faced and Over Each Other.

Linkin Park's journey has been one of highs and lows, however, From Zero emerges as a testament to their enduring spirit and ability to evolve.

What do you think of From Zero? Do you have a favorite track? Let us know in the comments!

The addition of Emily Armstrong’s vocals really gives it a fresh feel, while still keeping some of that iconic Nu-metal sound.

Heavy is the Crown” and “The Emptiness Machine” are definitely standouts for me too.

Excited to see where they go from here!

That’s a nice album overall . Even the so called weak tracks are pretty good . I do like Emily’s voice and I’m glad LP are back .

Casualty is fantastic and shows exactly what Emily is capable of .

HAPPY LP HOLIDAY!!!

Totally agree @Noam Asulin!

It's such a solid album, and Emily's voice really shines throughout. 🙌

"Casualty" is an absolute standout—she nailed it! 🎶

I wish it wasn't that short though . Barley 30 Min .

With this album Linkin Park wins, Emily's voice is very good. Chester will always be the leader and the voice that we all love, but the adaptation of Emily and the fans have accepted the new music of LP is the best thing that could happen to those of us who like their music, because it will keep them in force. With this they prove that not all changes are bad.
