Why do some uploaded tracks work on Windows app but not Web?

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

I recently uploaded several albums of tracks through the Windows App. Strangely though, certain tracks will simply refuse to play on the web version; A little error popup shows up. If I swap to the desktop app though, it will work. All tracks in question are 320kbps mp3, CBR.

What is happening?

The problem with uploaded Mp3’s has not been solved yet un fortunately, but our devs have been working on it.
I know it has been a long time, but I hope we can announce a permanent fix soon.
Thanks for your patience and apologies for any inconvenience

That might be related, but what I was saying is that it actually works better on the desktop app instead of the web version.

Could you please share a screenshot of the error message?
Thanks

To be clear, I don’t see any error messages that pop up in the browser developer console, but I do see this window pop up while using the web version of the client for a song that I uploaded. It consistently displays this on web but the song plays successfully on desktop.

EDIT: I don’t know why, but my post here is not accepting the screenshot I’m uploading. For what it’s worth, it’s a Deezer pop up that says “An error occurred, please try again later.”

Is it always with the same tracks? could you please give a couple of examples in order to pass the feedback to our devs and test on our side in order to reproduce it?
Thanks for your help and patience

Well, again, this applies to tracks which I have uploaded myself. I’m not entirely sure the best way to get them to you.

Maybe like this. This track is one of several I’ve uploaded that’s caused the issue. I can’t seem to attach it to a post here, so I guess you’d have to find some other way to acquire it.

I could not reproduce it on my side, but I have contacted our devs.
In the meantime, could you please try to upload that track again or any other that’s causing the same problem and let me know if the problem persists.
Thanks

I have tried many times to upload this and other tracks I’ve had problems with and they never work. I don’t know if you want me to send you the specific copy of the song(s) that I’m uploading, but they just do not work in the web client whatsoever.
