The band returns with their 5th studio album, Rushmere. This marks their first album in almost seven years and their debut as a trio after the departure of Winston Marshall (banjo) in 2021.

Rushmere follows Mumford & Sons’ 2009 debut album, Sigh No More, plus the incredible Babel (2012), Wilder Mind (2015) and Delta (2018).

“Rushmere is the name of a pond in Wimbledon Common in South West London, which is where Mumford, Ben Lovett, and Ted Dwane hung out and first started to conceive of putting a band together”

To create Rushmere, the band enlisted producer Dave Cobb and recorded in Nashville, Tennessee; Savannah, Georgia; and at Mumford's UK studio in Devon.

The band released Rushmere as the first single of the record on January 17th, followed by Malibu, the opening track of the new album, on February 18th.

Malibu was the first song we wrote when we got back together in Los Angeles in January 2023. The song just felt like us. We love it”, they mentioned.

As a folk fan, you will love Rushmere as the band is back to their roots by playing this exceptional rock-folk music. Rushmere will take you back to the “good ol’ days”.
