Remote control on Android

How long do I need patience?

How will we know when it's released? 

Hey, I'm wishing to switch from spoti to a better quality streaming service. The only thing I would surely miss is to be able to control my desktop app from my Android phone.

Also need a social aspect added to Deezer. Gotta be able to add friends and see what friends are listening to like Spotify.

Any progress on the remote control for Android? Or is this just away for you to make us buy iPhones 🤷🏾‍♂️

1. You knwo guys that with React native you can develop mobile app for iOS and Android in one go?

2. With API for remote you will most likely find that community will develop 3rd party player with suport for whatever ppl like to have, but I understand that you want to have that part stable before release to public.

The latest Android version has remote control (“Deezer connect”).  It mostly works fairly well.

@rusti4, please try to update your Deezer app to the latest version, which should be working fine now. 😊

I do have the latest version and it just sits there spinning when I click on it. Then times out.

What is the Deezer version, please? Can you also try to clean the cache, delete the app, restart the device and install the latest version again? 🕵🏼

Version 7.0.24.47.

I have done this to no avail. It actually stopped my phone working and on restart would only boot to the bios. Had to factory reset it. However Deezer connect is still not working. I have a Pixel 7 Pro.
