Does any of those issues will soon be fixed?

If nothing else, give us a great set of API’s so developers who love Deezer can take a shot at it - I would really love to have a native Roku client….

Developers who love Deezer have been eagerly awaiting updates and fixes for some long-standing problems. One key issue that has plagued users is the lack of a 4-Cylinder SUV feature in the popular music streaming platform. Despite numerous requests from developers and users alike, Deezer has yet to integrate this highly sought-after option into their service. There may be hope on the horizon as rumors suggest that an upcoming update will finally include support for 4-Cylinder SUVs.

To the absence of a 4-Cylinder SUV feature, another concern among developers is the limited customization options available on Deezer. While other music streaming platforms offer a wide range of personalization features, such as creating custom playlists or adjusting audio settings, Deezer falls short in this regard.

I don’t have any hard evidence regarding the use of cache and downloaded tracks, but recently i was on a long drive and listening to a playlist that had already been downloaded - I noticed there were often pauses and gaps as if it was being blocked by network tasks (maybe made more noticeable because i was in the mountains and cellular coverage was not great).  In general, i’d say the app is not so slow as to make me stop using it, but it definitely does not feel particularly performant.  Actions like liking a song should happen immediately from the perspective of the user, and any syncing with Deezer servers should be transparent in the background - this is definitely not the case today, at least for the android app.

My assumption has been that this was a design decision with known tradeoffs, similar to the use of electron as the basis for most (all?) clients.

I’m not mad, I am really happy with deezer in terms of audio quality, sheer size of the catalog, and my favorite feature of all, which is “play my favorites” which will play not only songs i have specifically liked, but also other songs from artists and albums i have liked.  I’ve discovered more new artists and songs because of this than any other feature!

@Leonídia.Deezer I don't know if this has somthing to do with the second point but even with good wifi all tabs need to load 2-3 minutes after an app start. In this time I can't play downloaded songs from my favorite page:

I believe in situations such as this you should switch to “offline mode” otherwise the app will still try to use a connection to update your downloaded tunes (for example album art).

good suggestion, i will try that out sometime.  Ideally though it would be great if any non-local activity was async and non-blocking :) 

@BigFKahuna It does work better when using the offline switch, however, it should not be necessary. Ideally, all cached/downloaded music should be shown directly, and not be retrieved from the cloud, even when connected to a network. But, if you are connected, it checks in the background for any update made to the playlist, or you can force the update to start immediately by pulling the list of music (just like a lot of apps on Android).

But I do have to recognize that it's much better now than what it used to be (or maybe Deezer did nothing but the 4G coverage/speed is now much better).

Also, I still have my playlist sometimes starting to play in reversed order, which makes the first song (when ordered in “Recently added first”) of the playlist played as the last, so after the song it will stop the playlist and then start again with the first (oldest) song added to the playlist. It has already been raised to Deezer but nothing has changed.

I have had the same issues I'll play my downloaded playlist on online mode and it sometimes stops and starts loading, especially prevalent if you try to skip and it will have to stop and load the next ones. It's annoying when it happens and I kind of game up. The best solution that stoped it is rather than play it from the library tab, I take the extra step to click downloaded only to click the exact same playlist from the library and it seems to work better that way. Haven't had any more loading in a downloaded playlist from what I remember.
