songs are greyed out or playing wrong version/mp3's not showing album art anymore

I have only ever played all songs listed on Deezer. To repeat... All songs listed were available and have been played for months (even years) until the recent issue with songs greying out on mass. 

It is possible that the licenses for these songs have been revoked and that is why they are no longer available on various music services. It is indeed strange that they were there before and now they are almost nowhere to be found.

Could be. It's just the timing is odd. They all greyed out at the same time along with dozens of others. All songs have cone back except those few. And why only 2 songs in an entire album are greyed out (Alexi Myrdoch) doesn't make any sense. I'll wait to see if they magically come back. Thanks for trying to help. Sol.

Are the songs only greyed out when placed in playlists, or also on the album/artist page?

On both the playlist and the album page.

If the song is greyed out on the artist / original album page too, its not a playlist bug, it probably means that for some reason Deezer can no longer stream the song legally (or something to do with copyright / licensing)

I have the issue too. So unfortunately nothing has been fixed in the last six months. I am using app version 8.0.45.3 on a Google Pixel 8 phone. 

Songs are playable on an album or from search results but are greyed out in playlists. It doesn't even matter if it is a playlist I created, it also occurs in Deezer-made playlists. 

It is definitely an app problem - when I log in via browser on my laptop the playlists work perfectly fine.

This needs to be fixed because the playlists - and let's face it the whole app - are not usable this way.

It happens with other songs as well though. I am aware of it happening with the song "Montero (Call me by your name)" by Lil Nas X, too.

Hi, Im on Samsung A15, in the latest beta version of Deezer (8.0.47.1), and this album METAL FORTH by BABYMETAL has not been fixed for me. Its true that the album has reappeared on the artists page and the songs can be listened in the album page, but when I added the song Sunset Kiss (feat. Polyphia) in my big playlist it is greyed out and cant be listened.

I reinstalled the app, cleared the cache, tried again, and its 100% still with this problem for playlit listening experience on mobile. I see that on the desktop version is not greyed out and can be listened normally, but I use the app mainly on mobile, and its still an issue. Can you pass this feedback to the devs?

Same problem here. I have followed all recommended solutions, cleared cache, removed deezer, restarted phone, reinstalled deezer. No difference when using the mobile version of deezer. All songs in all playlists are available to me on the web version. My deezer version is currently 8.0.48.6 and it is installed on a Moto G Stylus 2024 using Android 14. Can anyone help?

Screenshots of my favorites, it is the same behavior for all playlists regardless of the creators. If I search ch the songs individually they are playable.

What if you add a few unplayable tracks to a new playlist—do they become playable then in the new playlist?

I wanted to report that my problems have been corrected. On checking my playlists this morning, all songs are playable. If ​@Jaime.Deezer  had anything to do with this, you have my thanks.

To answer ​@awesomemac question. When I had the problem any playable song added to a new playlist was not playable. I did not get the chance to try adding a tune that was not playable to a new playlist. I doubt it would of worked (educated guess) as the problem for me were the playlists in particular. All songs were playable once they were accessed outside of a playlist.

Hello! How is it going? When will you fix the issue?

I also have a bunch of songs from various artists greyed out. Doesn't matter - classics dead or alive, the language of the lyrics, or no lyrics, it's random. Doesn't matter also when i added them. Although, there's one artist whose album is greyed completely.

I'm almost always on vpn and it doesn't matter my ip, they're unavailable. Do you really think that all of us above have different reasons for the same issue? 

Besides, they used to be available, otherwise i wouldn't have added them to my playlist

6 tracks grayed out of 266 in the playlist. 

I remembered now there were some tracks that would start playing fine but then switch to a puece of podcast. I had this problem in the beginning of summer when ihad some podcasts on my phone. I've deleted the podcast and the music tracks

Almost a year ago you promised to solve the issue within a year. Will you make us x-mas gifts as these issues fixed?

Most of the tracks from the screenshots are not available in our platform currently and that may be due to rights or the artists decisions to take them down.
