Deezer high data usage

I've been experiencing high data usage on mobile network even though the audio quality is set on basic on both wifi and mobile networks.

For a 40min listening session data usage was 400mb.

i tried uninstalling the app but the problem was still there.

Is there a fix for this?

Hello @bspendic! 

Unfortunately this is a reality of streaming apps. They consume a lot of data. 

Please consider it if you don’t have unlimited data and remember that you can download music to listen offline while you are connected to wifi!

well, i have to disagree....an hour of basic streaming (64kbps) should be around 30Mb, Standard (128kbps) approx 60Mb and HiFi (320kbps) around 150Mb....give or take…

I had it set on basic and 400Mb for 40min is too much...
