I cannot use deezer on Sonos since their last update. … can you please check with them.

 

I didn’t update the Sonos update, but I’m going to update and I’ll try…..wait for it…..


Well now, I’ve updated the Sonos app and I don’t have any issues so far.

I’ve added 2 screenshots and here you can see that it is working here.

I’m using Android 13 with the latest Sonos update. Did you try a reinstall? And did you try to use Sonos with their webapp (or another deveice)?

I reinstalled the app and still have the same issue. We have the same issue on two android phones + on one Apple

The problem occurs also in our two different apartments…in two different countries..

So it cannot be a phone or installation issue

 

 


BTW search on deezer works.. It's the main deezer menu that fails..

 


My sorry to hear that. I don’t have any issues with the Sonos app.

Have you tried to reach out to Sonos, maybe on their Community?


Yes. I have and I'm visibly not the only one having the issue..


The question is: Is it a Deezer issue or a Sonos issue or maybe both?


Same issue here. Get the “something went wrong” error every time. My other services works fine (Amazon Music, Sirius XM). I would suspect the issue to potentially be on the Deezer side.


Yes it works for everyone other sources except deezer.. So a deezer issue….


Since the soonos app uptate of july first I have the same issue (in the Netherlands). 

Done everything that's advised. Nothing works. The conclusion that's it's a deezer issue is a bit quick, maybe the app of Sonos doesn't support Deezer or has the wrong software or however it's connected. 

 


On both the Dutch and English Sonos Community pages I read that there are more that are having the same issues.


I‘m having the same issue. Deezer on Sonos doesn’t load. No problems with other services.

Same issue here for the last 4 or 5 days. Deezer app works fine, seems to be a Sonos / Deezer integration issue. I’ve also not been able to play music from the music library / hard drive source since the app update. Very disappointing. 


Same issue here, since the last Sonos update Deezer has become garbage on the app. Every time Sonos has updated this same issue arrives, maybe more apparent on older Sono's speakers like the Playbar. 

I have reached out in the past and they immediately said it was their end and needed to patch, Deezer support, but this time they are telling me to uninstall, reinstall, do this work around that work around. I’m really tired of the lack of support for Deezer and the handling of support. I’ve been a subscriber for about 12 years, and I don’t see these issues with other streaming products. A work around would be to update the app to include airplay streaming, like Spotify does, to avoid having to use the Sonos app altogether. Sonos app is a hot mess, and every release is worse than the previous.

My issues with the latest is songs play for a while then stop, big gap then a new one tries to play. Some play throughout, most stop at random times throughout the song and have a timeout before other attempts to play. I’m at my wits end and about to cancel after being so long a customer. What's the point if I can’t listen to what I want on what I want??

I would like to hear from you if the issue still persists as on my last check, this issue should have been sorted by now.

If you still have the issue, please let us know the version of Sonos you have install and OS version of the device.

Still intermittently fails. I've completed all the troubleshooting steps on installed it reinstalled it reinstall the song reinstall Deezer many times after a few days it starts falling apart again intermittent skips, lag. 

 

Been months now and for me to not say I'm pissed wood be a lie. Been a subscriber for about 12 years now, Sonos for 10.

 

How about skipping integration and add airplay to the app like Spotify does to skip garbage Sonos app altogether.


I’m using Deezer on my Sonos speakers on a daily basis and I don’t have those issues.

Did these issues start when Sonos released their new Sonos app?
