App stops playing after 5 seconds

Deezer stops playing music after about 5 seconds, whenever my screen goes off (android). When I turn my screen on after 5 sec, I don't see the player widget anymore. It's been like that for a few weeks now.

I've tried un- and reinstalling several times and checked my battery settings.

I don't know what else I could try. Thankful for any help!

What version of the app do you have?
What is the model of your phone?

Is there any other app running at the same time?

Hey,

I use Deezer 7.0.7.42 on a Huawei p20 lite with Android 9. There aren't always other apps running at the same time.

When I use the Huawei music app or play music in a browser, I don't have any problems, when the screen is locked.

Can you please check the settings of your phone if it allows you to use Deezer on the background, please?

And can you also send me the screenshot of the settings of your Deezer app (Data and storage).

Yes, Deezer is allowed to run in the background.

Hey, what do you mean exactly?

Deezer is allowed to run in the background and the battery saving settings aren't activated for Deezer.
