I can't play downloaded music without an internet connection. It literally streams downloaded music.
It started after the last update.
Any fix?

Yes, each album, playlist etc. has the download option switch. Turn it off for testing with one playlist. Close and restart the app and turn it ob again to re download the playlist. If it works imho the easiest way would be to clear the cache and smartcsche in deezer app settings and restart phone and app. After this all downloads should automatically start again.

This is getting really frustrating as it seems my issue playing downloaded content (whole point of paying for the privilege) while offline has been a known issue for at least a year and is still not resolved.
I’m on version 7.0.20.133 (Android) and have tried clearing the cache, rebooting the phone, redownloading playlists, all that malarkey. When I go into airplane mode and try to “shuffle my music”, a playlist of two songs loads. Same if I try and play my downloaded favourites. No issue loading individual downloaded playlists but what’s the point of the other options if they still don’t work?
