DEEZER CATALOGUE - something is missing :mag_right:

We're really sorry to know the tracks you love isn't on Deezer. Not all artists and rights' holders choose to add their music on our platform. We always respect their wishes so some music isn't available or might be temporarily removed. 

Some of the reasons for this are: 

RIGHTS' HOLDERS :microphone:

If an artist has a large discography with different rights' holders controlling different albums you can sometimes find gaps in the catalogue - if a certain rights' holder hasn't yet agreed to allow the music they control to be streamed online.

TERRITORY :globe_with_meridians:

Streaming rights are also defined by territory - country, region, location. The tracks that appear in the search box when you're looking for music are the songs that are available in all territories. In a small number of cases, a user in a different country may not have access to different tracks so an "unavailable in your country" message appears when they try to listen to it. 

SO WHAT SHOULD I DO? :weary:

We're constantly updating and re-negotiating our agreements with rights' holders and thousands of tracks are added to our catalogue every single week.

You can try a couple of things:

  • Add your MP3 collection to Deezer :calling:
  • Contact the artist via their social media channels and request for the tracks/albums to be added to Deezer, we take care of the rest :nerd:

Hey there. We do our best to have a complete and inclusive catalogue. If you can’t find an album in particular you can ask the artist to deliver it to us or buy the album and add it in mp3 format to your library!

Don't forget that if you have an active subscription you can upload the song to your own mp3 section on Deezer and then you can add it to playlists. The step by step guide is here.

I’ve just moved over from Spotify to Deezer and one of my fave bands music couldn’t be moved over because they’re not on Deezer, but they’re on Spotify, and YouTube. Any chance you can reach out to the band to see if they’ll allow Deezer to play their music?

Can you please add Angus and Julia Stone - Down The Way to Deezer in my/all countries? It is so strange that that one isn’t available for streaming for so many years now. It is on all the other services, all of their other albums are available, and this one is not really a rare record…

You seem to have it but it’s not available in my country (NL/SWE) for some reason:

Thank you! I’ve filled out the form. I was looking for that form on line but couldn’t find it, so thank you!  I’ve also sent the band’s management company an email request, but who knows if they’ll see it.

last time i used this it was like a blackhole,i mean the cd i asked has been added,but i never received an email that it actually happened

I was surprised that the catalog of legendary prog rock band Rush is not available in it’s entirety on Deezer. I can only find more recent release (or release) but there are big gaps. All other major streaming services feature the whole catalgog. I do like to hace acces to album from my youth…

Hi I’m streaming from Canada and I’m missing most of the Rush catalog. It’s easier to list the few albums that are available (mostly live or anniversary editions):

  • Time machine 2011 (live)
  • Working men (live)
  • test for echo
  • Chronicles (compilation_
  • Permanent Waves  (40th anniversary edition)
  • Hemisphere (40th anniversary edition)
  • 2112 ( 40th anniversary  edition)

Al the rest is missing from my Deezer, and that qui a few albums (all avalable on competing  platform): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rush_discography

Just came over from Spotify and noticed three of my favorite albums are missing:  Joe Ely--Live Shots, The Who--The Who By Numbers, The Who--It’s Hard. Anything you could do to get these on Deezer would be appreciated.

Hi just moving over to Deezer and thinking of doing a year’s subscription. But as I’m transferring my playlists I’m noticing several missing albums that are available on other steaming sites in the uk, so can I request these 3 all on the Universal record label- Adam Ant- Manners and Physique, Phil Ochs- Greatest Hits and James Horner- An American Tail. This is in the UK btw. Also you haven’t got the new Matt Goss album, just the singles
