Absolutely agree, “Shuffle all my music” was my go-to feature, and now on iOS it’s gone.

And even though I can live with the new design which I absolutely hate (it looks terrible, it looks now more like a dating app), if the “shuffle all” feature is not back shortly - I will most probably leave Deezer.

Hi, In the meantime you can open Deezer on your PC and shuffle your music. You will then see that it replicates on your phone when you open the mobile app. You will then be able to play around with the music player on your mobile as if the feature existed in the mobile app. 

Crazy I know, but it works and it maybe a workaround for some like me, as “shuffle my music” is the way I listen to Deezer.

Hi, Let’s hope Deezer techs are working on this. The feature is still available on PC but not on Android, so hopefully they just forgot about it with the new update and we will have it back soon also in our phones. Otherwise I will probably swap to another music app. It worked really good and it is the main reason why I pay for Deezer and not Spo.

Hi, absolutely agree. To me this was a Number 1 feature too. It is the way I listen to Music. It was basically THE reason why I joined and paid for Deezer and not any of the other Music apps with a better catalog and better functionalities that did not offer this feature. And now it is gone?

The Deezer ad says something like “get you closer to your music”. I do not see how they intend to achieve this by removing the button that actually did that. No sense at all. 

The rest of the update I don’t really mind but the whole experience is now worse than last week. The interface is worse, the font is worse, the menues are worse. And the logo… when I suddenly noticed the logo on my phone I pannicked. For a while I thought I got it hacked with porn sites! 😂

Please please please bring it back! For the first time I seriously think of moving to another app. 

Now with the update, how can I listen all my music (albums, playlist…) in shuffle?

The button is available on the web version, but it’s not in the mobile app, clearly this is some major overlook.

Agree with the above. Why would you remove the ability for someone to shuffle their music library? So many things have been changed or removed in the update, which make the service worse, that you have to wonder if it was user-tested prior to release.

The feature on My Favourites which allows you to shuffle your entire library has gone. I actually may leave Deezer now. Also don't like loss of album length & most played track info either. Logo is worse. The Nov' 23 update makes the service worse. 

Interesting, I can shuffle my “Favorite Tracks” on Android.

And here we are, a full year later, yet this very simple bug (as that is what it seems to me, calling it a feature does not change that) has yet to be fixed.

Every once in a while I like to try other services, on this case, One other than Spotify, my main music app, to know where the competence is, this month I did this with Deezer, unfortunately, this issue with my nest device its more important than it seems, and then entering on the forums and seeing that the issue was supposed to be solved a year ago…

Just saying that this feature not being available yet, it's the kind of thing that makes you lose costumers...

Hey guys. This was supposed to be a focus in 2021. Well, Happy New year! 

When can we expect cast fixes? 

 

When casting I:

... am missing shuffle

... am losing the widget and can't place it again. Gone from the drawer

... am losing the ability to change the queue by hand. And no "play next" or "add to queue" options either.

... can't control volume with my hardware buttons on my phone. I have to click the cast icon and control from there.

 

Have a good 2022 and good luck fixing these. I really want to stay with Deezer. Perhaps you could roll out a Tesla app. Like Tidal did. 😉

Ok. And what about random? Random, not shuffle. 

It's been in demand for a long time and nothing seems to happen ?

The button doesn't disappear, it's only because we haven't developed the shuffle option for casting yet - simple as that.

The good news is that this is now on our radar and I'm confident our teams will be looking into it in the near future - at the moment we're all focused on lowering the bugs in our platform. Hang in there, please!

Copied an 8 month old post in this thread.  I still have the same problem.  There is great frustration about random and shuffle but you do nothing about it more than promise.  are you going to fix it at all, honestly?

Apologies for how you feel @papipapi 

Could you please be a bit more constructive and let us know what's the problem with your experience? Are you referring to the button not showing or shuffle mode not being present?

Could you also let us know in what device and app version you're observing this? The issue hasn't been replicated on our side yet so it's a bit complex at the moment.

The Shuffle feature can only be activated before you cast/stream your queue list - because it isn't a cast feature yet.

There has been a good discussion around this over time, so thank you for adding to this. I'll be forwarding your comments on!

It’s worse than that. When casting, there is no indication whether Shuffle is on or off. You can turn it on (inadvertently) by pressing Shuffle Play on a playlist, but you cannot turn it off. From then on everything gets shuffled.
