Clarification: This behaviour is observed in automatically generated mixes in the web app. Mobile apps display what will come after the current song, as desired.
This is the only keyboard shortcut I am missing. And “Q” is available.
Deezer unfortunately has too many bugs that ruin the experience and do not justify the price, which is higher than all other streaming services in my country, Greece. Sadly, I have already paid for a whole year of Deezer. I’m quite disappointed.
If it is a surprise, why doesn’t the mobile app have the same behaviour? It clearly is not a “surprise”. It is just one of the numerous inconsistencies between the web app and the mobile app. I am very disappointed and regret subscribing for a full year.
Guys, it only works half of the time. All too often it refuses to show on my iPhone the songs that my PC is currently playing, no matter what I try. It insists on showing a queue from earlier in the day. Is there anyone on the team actually still developing the app? It seems abandoned. Are you preparing to throw in the towel and quit the market?
This still happens all the time, five years later. The same songs again and again and again in the same queue. Perhaps the French are again on strike. They charge more than anyone else but work less than everyone. Quite disappointing. I wish I could get a refund.
Deezer looks like abandonware. They have raised the price but not their effort.
I made the terrible mistake of buying an annual Deezer subscription. But, as with many other “produits cocorico” that I have bought over the years, I have been thoroughly disappointed.
Hey @Yula. We are not talking about this, though. But thanks for bringing up yet another of Deezer’s limitations.
I’ve had this issue, as well. No one seems to fix anything. There are no release notes, no mentions of improvements or fixes. Deezer seems to be in a derelict state, in damage control mode: raising prices but nothing else.
This is simply not true. You can see upcoming songs in the mobile application. On the web app, if you hover your mouse pointer over the “Next” button, to the right of “Play”, it will show you what the next track will be. This goes to show that the above is just a poor excuse from Deezer.
The “Angry face” button has nothing to do with the issue. Flow could show a few upcoming songs, and change them if you pressed that button. It’s not like it decides the very last second what it will play next. It knows at least what the next one song will be, as noted above.
So, it urges you to update your app to see the “huge new feature”, but the feature is not ready yet, so updating the app does nothing? Wow, how convenient!
Please don’t tell me that the “new huge feature” that will be announced is genre-based Flow: https://www.reddit.com/r/deezer/comments/14ord7z/flow_genres_is_on_the_way/ This is neither new nor huge.
But you already have a queue list for Flow. It works in the iOS app. You just need to make sure that mobile, desktop and web apps all work the same.
the new huge feature launch yesterday was the Concerts feature.😀 Is this really a huge feature? Also, you said that two updates were coming, not one. What is the other feature?
Hi @Leonídia.Deezer . Unfortunately, I can’t, because Deezer won’t even let me look at the homepage if I don’t pay 11 EUR a month.
Hi @Leonídia.Deezer . Thanks for your reply. I’m afraid I am not interested in these features. I have reverted to buying actual albums and singles and EPs. I am done with all that playlist nonsense that pays pennies to artists. Good luck in your future endeavours!
