Nope, same behavior after uninstalling and reinstalling the app (latest from the link you have). I think I will move to Qobuz. I see no benefit to Deezer at this point. Price of Qobuz in Canada is like $2 more a month and they offer more options and better apps.
There’s a workaround for this. In Windows, open your sound settings, go to volume mixer/app volume (you may need to scroll down), ensure you have Dezzer app open on your pc, find deezer in the app volumes and set the output device to your chosen device (works best if you have an external DAC). Now Deezer will have an exlusive mode over the device. find your device in your sound settings and set your device to the desired sample rate and bit depth, Deezer is cd quality FLAC so I have mine set at 32bits 48000khz. Now you have exclusive mode with it playing the correct sample rate and bit depth as you would for Tidal or Qobuz. Works in exactly the same way, this is just a more manual way of doing it. Enjoy! Anyone else have trouble in windows 11 with it not showing all the apps in the volume mixer? Apps such as the deezer app?
Hi @tino.l! Can you tell me if you have any updates around your Favorites issue? Is it working now? 🤔 Take care. Thanks Johnathan. I checked today and its working now on the mobile app! Not sure what changed but it worky :) Thanks again.
Now the only thing with the app that is not working is favorites. If I go to favorites, it shows I’ve got 13 favorite tracks, but if I click into it, its blank. However albums section works so something up with favorites. Still its a great start as the app actually controls the computer now :)
Perfect @tino.l ! With the new Deezer Android version 7.0.23 should work smoothly again. 👌🏽😊 New version 7.0.24.1 fixed it! Yay. I’m happy. Now waiting for Deezer to give the app ‘exclusive mode’ to get true bit-perfect audio to get the most out of the uncompressed audio :)
Hah I just checked now, and the app store finally shows me 7.0.24.1I wonder if it just takes time to populate or maybe they release according to time zones.
Hmm how does one sign up for beta versions? Maybe I’ll give that a go! :) And no go after enrolling for beta apps - even after rebooting the phone and going back in. So no idea. Maybe its not available in Canada? No idea.
Hmm how does one sign up for beta versions? Maybe I’ll give that a go! :) Wait I think I just found it - the joining beta.

Perfect @tino.l ! With the new Deezer Android version 7.0.23 should work smoothly again. 👌🏽😊 Hmm I can only seem to download 7.0.22 from the Google store. Or at least thats what installs for me. How can I get that new version?
I’m also going to try removing and reinstalling and trying again - fingers crossed
Hi @tino.l! Sorry about this issue, yes as @soakes said, usually when you clean cache and reinstall the latest Deezer app, solve the issue. 😉 But if after that, if you @Duality still getting issue, I need more info to send to our developers and they can investigate it. So, please send me the model of the device, SO and the Deezer app version. If possible any video or screenshot of the issue will be very useful too, because I tested on my side and I don’t have any of those problems.😕 Thank you for your help!🙏🏽 Thank you Johnathan. Like Duality, I’ve tried clearing the cache and for me it happens not only with the browser session but the app as well which I have tried reinstalling with no change. The two things I see in common with me and Duality isWindows 11Samsung S20 (for me its the FE model)
Damn, thanks soaks. Guess Deezer is in over its head just keeping this service going with no time for improvements :(
I will be adding that I will also cancel Deezer and go Qobuz due to the lack of exclusive mode to get bit perfect. No point to go uncompressed only to half-@ss it with windows mixer resampling the audio. Seriously Deezer, you have to think about your audience. If you cant offer hi-fi properly, then you’re not much better than spotify which has way more songs and a better UI anyway. If you do want to keep supposed hi-fi customers, then you’d need to offer some bitperfect player. Amazon has it, Tidal has it, Qobuz has it. You’re the only one that doesnt have it.
